    Fabulous! I’ve seen so many of these videos, which are mostly from the US, but have no baring on what we eat here in the UK. This lady is also a regular family mum and not a skinny influencer. Thank you

    The prices for your fresh food is so much cheaper than here in the US. I'm paying $1.09 for spring onions. $1.00 a pound for apples. I will admit...I have no idea what the eggplant goes for, and I'm happy about that.
    Yesterday I paid $2.99 for 10 ounces od sliced mushrooms.

      Wow! That’s crazy. It’s been a few years since i went to the US but I know prices are always a tad higher than here ☹️

    The pack of minced beef has already increased in price. I bought it today and it’s gone up from £3.88 to £4.09 😭

    • @blackbeauty7499
      @blackbeauty7499 2 года назад +2

      Not sure where you live but if you can go to a butcher’s and buy mince in money’s worth. So that means if you have £5 ask them for £5 worth of mince and you will be better off, that includes £3.50 worth of mince etc
      If you can try not to be out of pocket with everything going up, also it won’t mess with your budget. You can do this with all meats… I hope this helps ❤️😁😊

      @@TheBudgetMumUK thank you, I've just sped through a number of your videos this week.

      @@TheBudgetMumUK I love every day discovering a new meal idea.
      I have a break down book of ingredient cost and break down per portion.
      Helps me plan my expenses!
      I've also just found out about some good bank deals right now on savings accounts and it might be something you can cover in a future video.
      We are saving money but it's also important to make the most of our savings right?
      Martin Lewis did a great shout about chase bank. They have some very interesting features on round up savings and do 1% cash back for first year on their debit card. Plus 4.1% on savings account.
      You can even have multiple savings accounts with them to divide what you are saving for.
      So you can make your cash stuffing envelopes digitally and grow them at the same time 😀
      I hope this is helpful information to everyone here wanting to make the most of their savings.
      Here's to a prosperous 2024 everyone!
