I heard the Varnus Suite Gotique many years ago in Bergamo. He played the Vegezzi Bossi organ in Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore. It was a stormy night, very "Gothic"! I remember Varnus playing with boots, demonic fury, great!

Love it! It's better without percussion like in the MUPA recording. Only the tempo in the ending might have been a little tiny bit slower.
