So many great tips in this one! I love the plus 1 idea and you covered sustainability, protein importance, and slow reducing sugar intake. Really awesome video! Thank you for continuing to bring us great information.
Thanks! I thought that this one had some good points for sure! Definitely like hte plus one! well I like the advice. I like my carbs and fat and would prefer them to be the main course and the others to be the plus one. hahahaha
This was a great review Mary Fran! I love this. Honestly I think so many people fail or regain because they try to change who they are fundamentally are. I also agree with the idea of not thinking of ourselves as “fat” girls and think more “healthy and fit” girls. Small sustainable changes is really the way to go. I notice I always back slide after restricting to the point of complete pigging out lol.
Thanks! I think you are absolutely right. We have to remain true to who we are. Over time, who we are may change and alter a bit, but that is a natural organic progression. Forcing ourselves to be something different will never work long term!
Am I drawn to them? Is it divine intervention? Or is it the message that sticks most in my mind that makes me find the books that talk about how we speak to ourselves! I know that it's a particular problem of mine for sure, I am way down on myself, but trying to fix that!
Also I think a lot of people today demonize comfort zones too much. Yes, it’s important to try new things but your life doesn’t have to be a complete metamorphosis every year to be happy. Comfort zones are great with small changes and a few new things once in while. I’m getting off topic here but I notice in todays social media focused world so many people think you need to be pushing yourself and going on adventures all the time….but people forget that 150 years ago many people never left their hometown. I guess I’ve just been thinking about small daily happiness vs crazy changes and realizing I’m ok being happy where I’m at but wanting to be a healthier version.
Very true. I know that change happens when I leave my comfort zone, but Long term sustainability is more apt to be successful if I work hand in hand with my comfort zones to expand them!

Nice book. Thanks for your review
Thank you so much!
You seem to be really drawn lately to books that are talking about how we speak to ourselves. 🥰

@@noexcuses_beliefinmyself I would say all 3. God can keep drawing you to something until He feels you have heard the message loud and clear. 😃
That all makes sense. Sounds like a good book
Thanks. It does make sense! IT was a pretty good read!
Makes total sense
