if you miss "fight first" you fight as per normal picks; for example, a Space Marine Judiciar is pulled into combat by orks piling in. The judiciar is now eligible to fight, but does not get a "second" fight first phase to interrupt the regular ordering.
Nope. The pile in move is part of the fight of the unit, so the orks will pile in, fight and consolidate. If anything fight first lives they can swing next
@@daniel_fyr2515if you check the remaining combats section of the rules, it specifically states that it includes any fights first units that were not eligible at the start of the fight phase but have since become eligible. So if you charge another unit and pile into a fight first unit, that fight first unit will only be eligible to fight once you reach the remaining combats step. An unusual interaction!
To follow on from this, if my opponent then fights with his first unit, does that mean the next activation would be me if he is the defender? Or will he then get to fight again with his next unit after that as he is defender with alternating activations?
@@Prickles2001 So in the fight phase there are two steps we go through: "Fight's First Step" "Remaining Fights Step" Both steps start with the player whose turn it is not and then you alternate. Typically, only the active player will have units in the "Fight's First Step" as charging gives you that bonus, so normally the active player activates all their chargers and then you go to remaining combats. If your opponent has some fight's first units that are in combat (these could be existing combats) then they start with one of those, and then you alternate
firing deck utilizes the weapon profile you select, so the blightspawn's flamer profile has "anti infantry 2+" to take advantage of, even if something has -1 to wound, you still wound infantry on 2+
as an ork player the -WS deathguard can do can be brutal, the reason is because they can also get -1 to hit on some units in melee. and -1WS and -1 to hit stack. ive gone into a death guard list that had that and killed nect to nothing on my waaagh turn.
think its a mistake for the death guard to not take -1WS, if he "hides" the nurglings right behind his units, the orks will hit on 5+ in melee. Basicly removing the orks ability to kill anything
I dont get why trucks not just 1 kill rig or hunta rig for 21 transport and firing deck, while yes more expensive then 2 trucks. I feel way more combat efficency for da great hunt they also run the beast snagga keyword which i assume some stratgems be used on it vs a truckk.
The moon probably not made of cheese of course however listen up public educated boys and girls ... if you think guys played putt putt golf and drove around in crack heads dune buggy sitting on lawn chairs followed by a phone call to the white house... well, you've been fooled. 😂 much love and great game fellas! That ork book is dope for sure.
You should have the camera pointed at the miniatures not the wall, nobody really cares to look at the players just the miniatures is whats the game about
@@uptogeek9558 I haven’t played since 8th edition, im tryna figure out how to update my ork army list but it’s impossible to see the units in this video. Miniwargaming is the best for viewers wanting to keep track of the gameplay.
@@parkdog7571this is also not a good channel if your looking to build competitive lists. They list for the show and will willingly make non-optimal unit choices for a more balanced and enjoyable game. Vanguard Tactics and Art of War are both pretty good channels to look into if you want more competitive focused content.

Also bridger yes the guy with the fist while in the group does have lethal and on 5+ he gives all weapons lethal including his fists
Why don't you shoot the havoc and two combi bolters on the rhino along with the top deck.? Also contagion is 3" 6" 9" not 1"-3"-6"-9" common bridger

I never really cared much for Orks before but then I saw the Squigs and I'm like I MUST HAVE!!
The music surrounding the orks list was somehow perfect.

It doesn't stack like that, to hit and to wound regardless of how many +'s there are cannot be modified by more than 1 from their original value
@@RexTheAlbinoGeckomurglings specifically modify ws, not -1
true -to hit dont stack, but the death guard aura is a -1 to ws/bs, and the nurglings are a -1 to hit... so it stacks
A hit roll can never be modified by more than +1/-1. It's in the core rules.
reducing ws/bs and -1 to hit roll is not the same thing, so the effect stacks... read the Death guard rules
Why is an ork riding a pig tougher than a custodes on a flying jetbike!
because custodes are all female and thus weak and frail
Waaaaaaagh!
'cause orks is da best ya weakling' umie😉
Green is good.
Because the team writing the Ork book is competent while the team that wrote the Custodes book are not.
Isn't the PBC ap-1. And the rhino at the start should have had cover. Morty does ignore modifiers to everything except on saving. Right?
A really cool matchup!
Isn't emergency disembark for 6" mortals on 1-3 not just 1-2?
Yes, that’s correct it’s desperate escape that is 1-2

Wonderful match gentlemen. What size table/moon are you playing on?
Shows how tough of a match up this is for orks. Well produced game though
Are the squigriders conversions?
Where did you get those fun looking proxy squig models?
Must be chainsquigs from aos
The thumbnail looked like a drg leak
Where is your dread mob game? COuldnt find one *sad*
Ork week... but where is Custodes week? hmmm
If you only showed the miniatures up close so ppl could actually see them.
I don’t know what happened to the video production. They used to have 4K and great close ups. Wish they would do that again
Why is the camera pointed at the wall and the players instead of the table closeup?
😫 Im just so tired of seeing beast snaggas 😢 give me old school orks 💯% need to see a good krump'n!

Though I see where you’re coming from, I disagree. One of the reasons I love this channel is they show the back and forth between the players.
