An explanation for the q-tip hack:
Any touch screen electronic uses the electricity from your body so you can use it (theres a lot of electricity in your body). When you wrap something with a cotton head with foil, then dip the cotton in water, the foil and water acts like a conductor, and absorbs the electricity from your body onto the cotton. That’s why it works. I tried it before and there are many ways of doing it.
