Main reason why I liked doing triathlon training more than just pure marathon training, I get to balance out my endurance training with swimming and biking which is easier on my joints
@@synchronium24 it’s only a theory also did she say she keeps her workouts in zone 2? I’m not sure but if she doesn’t I’m pretty sure she does full on track workouts but on the eliptical instead so I’m guessing her hr gets extremely high, way higher than zone 2 maybe. As it is good to take advantage of the low impact eliptical? I could be wrong. I was on the eliptical today for just 45 minutes and my average hr was 150
@@AronTorras I wasn't referring to anything Valby said. There was another commenter (same video, different thread) who said Valby clearly understands high volume zone 2 training. If she's sweating that much, I agree she's going higher than zone 2.
If more people did Parker's "easy day" workout, ate a consensus diet, and did consensus supplementation - we would have some doctors, hospitals, and pharm companies going out of business.
the interviewer clearly doesn't work out by his expression and tone....two a days are basic for the average age group triathlete...he should have asked her distance or intensity for the question to be meaningful
she is so so cute, hard to believe she is real so so cute 70 to 80 minutes on the bike.... so so adorable her half hour to 40 minute swims.... so easy-peasy baby-doll.... such a cross-country cutie god-bless her.... cute as a button... kinda hard to watch because of the cuteness factor
Parker Valby should Molly Seidel the Marathon Qualifier on her Central Florida home turf on February 3rd and medal in summer in Paris too! Orlando is flat, warrm and sea level. She's from here and would kick ass. Boom! Go Gators! Scott O UF '95 Orlando since '86 Will be there cheering, hopefully for Parker and my fellow Cheesehead Molly
70-80 minutes on the bike plus 30 minutes of swimming is an extremely hard day for me. Keep it up Parker, much love and respect.
Awesome to find out she's not scared as a runner to cross-train bike or elliptical, big Parker fan me.
I'm glad that she understands high volume zone 2 training that is less impactful than running. It's absolutely the way to go to stay injury free.

Parker, i wish you great success, you are such an inspiration to many people ❤️
such a cute cute kitty-cat god-bless her heart little wonder woman running Valkyrie
And she knows how to run!
"Go Parker" I'm a fan of both you girls,
You are truly a star.
Low impact, very smart
70-80 minutes on Elliptical could mean anything. You can get you HR up to 160 or so or keep it really easy under 110. Both have their purpose.
I’m sure she does heart rate of 150 ish because that’s easy running heart rate
She mentions training so hard on the eliptical that her gym puts out wet floor signs because she sweats so much
@@AronTorras So much for the "she's doing zone 2 training" theory.

You only have to do 25% of that while not eating garbage and consuming drugs/booze for them to be in serious trouble
Just wait until she’s done at Florida and back with Chris. What she will do at 50mpw is going to be EPIC!!
It is an easy day.
The water girl from the descendants
?
Cross training is the answer , big fan of parker
I wonder how she would do vs international competition vs the East Africans?
Not very well.
At this point, she gets beaten .. badly. Let's see where she is in 4 years, but the Kenyans and Ethiopeans just run in a different league.

70-80 mins on a bike is VERY easy

@@williampatrick8814 Good point. She could do a half marathon qualifier like Molly did.
Parker is injury prone and is not ready for the Big Leagues yet even though I do see her at least in the short term beating Touhy.
@@igloozoo3771 Um she literally just did like an hour ago. Lol
