The corner man for Connelly continuing slapping the ring mat should be removed from the apron. That banging noise is easily a distraction to the other fighter.

I came here after watching the documentary "unbroken" during confinement due to the pandemic. I found both fighters portrayed in the story to be extremely likeable, smart and skillful. Now, I'm sold on this sport. After watching Franco vs Connelly, one standout aspect is the incredible sportsmanship demonstrated during and after the fight. Another is the fitness level these guys demonstrated - that kills the myth of the overweight tattooed bully disguised as a fighter. And lastly, the skill set and movement was off the charts good. Inspiringly good stuff.
Loving this sport, much more exciting than ultimate FC.

He was referred to all the way through as "Connerlee" I`m guessing he must prefer that pronunciation. The ex Rugby league player Malcolm Reilly hated being called Riley and insisted on" Really".
That’s the way they pronounce it across the pound. You should here them say safety... safe-eh-tee... in NYC we had some guys on the site from Ireland(the country side)... who the f$&@ new what those two were saying. I just nodded my head all day.

Loved watching Connelly, he looked so classy, stylish boxing with great footwork and counter punching. He was very fluid and brilliantly evasive, created good setups with excellent timing. Some terrific punches and scored a lot of good points, looked very close at times.

Just a couple suggestions BKB time count down in corner and find some sponsors for more tournaments in diff weight categories with a lil more for the fighters
I do not do professional sport. Now I grew up boxing and I've done really well at it. But I didn't follow all of the boxers in the professional ranks. I love this sport. I'm just getting into it and I'm starting to learn different guys names and watching their Styles against different people. I also love that it is real. I don't see a lot of suspect stuff going on in the ring. And I especially love that they don't have the guys that are going to fight each other sit there and trash talk and try to Hype it up

There were a lot of distracting actions going on at ringside. Storing gear on the ringside, banging on the mat during the entire fight, etc. Be a lot more professional about your ring control.
