For this man to have colitis and get in the ring and still fights, shows you the type of character and the fortitude it takes to be a champion. Not many human beings can do that, I’d say at a 99% he is the one percent who can. Believe me I have diverticulitis and when it flares up, I am on the toilet and laying in bed sick like a dog. Like I said in my text earlier when God made Rico, he broke the mold. I hope he has a long healthy career and life. I met rico today at fantasy island ingoldmells, and I can honestly say Rico is one down to earth guy, he’s been my favourite bkb fighter since I first watched it, meeting him today made my year!! Thanks Rico❤️
Watched most of Rico’s fights in BKB, great fighter & this podcast is possibly one of the best I have seen, what a humble but inspirational guy who has fought all his life & keeps fighting, good luck in defending your belt against Jimmy I’m sure it will be another absolute classic the same as the first fight.

I can sympathise with this young man going through the hell that is ulcerative colitis and all the agony that it brings as I've been going through it for the last twenty years but thankfully not the surgery. To go through it and then continue with his training and boxing is testement to his character, a true hero.

I know exactly how you feel mate, iv had a illeostomy since i was 18. I didn’t have a choice either, im 38 now and the best diet i have found is 1/2 fibre 1/4 carbs 1/4 protein. Also you can get black bags from a company called salts, bit more discreet and really comfy compared to others.
He was loosing but got the win , let’s hope when he looses rematch people don’t use the colitis excuse , respect too him either way for fighting bkb hes up there with the best
@@chrisb8756 Yeah either way it's going to be an insane fight. The lane rematch was a completely different Jimmy. The only question is how Rico has recovered from the operation etc and if that has been a hinderance.... its a 50/50 fight for sure
