FYI on auto emptying based on sensor, this is an iRobot patent so nobody else does that. Everybody else does it based on other calculations. So it wasn't for cost cutting.
hmm... I have similar carpet at home and am worry that the robot would "sink" slightly and make the carpet wet with dirty mops. I pre-ordered this, but am now having second thoughts if I have to remove the mops when it vacuums carpeted areas. Or ... I guess I can have it vacuum first the carpeted areas, then run vacuum and mop at the other areas! Thanks!
You very quickly glanced over the detangle brush and how bad a job it did near the start of the video. That's a huge selling feature for this one, and it seems based on your experience their claims of 99.7% hair removal turned out to not be true. I don't see where you mentioned it in your final review. My current Roomba has the rubber style rollers that don't get tangled as much as the traditional brush on this one. Is it really that bad? I have two German Shedders so I need it to work.
It works! But I found the carpet can’t be that hairy. If you vacuum say yesterday and do it today, it helps with the detangling. I would say it works but with extra hairy dogs you might get some tangles
Alright. I still have to detangle my Roomba, but I have it run every other day due to how much fur gets everywhere. I'm in desperate need of a mop combo since I don't have carpet, and Roomba's offerings at the high end lack a bit on performance for price. I think I'll still take advantage of the early bird $599 they have for this, thanks!@@EverydayChris
Set mine to empty after each clean. Then I set it up to clean one room at a time. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. It works great.
Ooo need to try it

Never knew
Just another paid advertisement showing the features of this vacuum, far from an "honest review".
almost impossible to find one
Nice video!! What is your clearance height under those kitchen cabinets? (baseboard height) I see the robot nicely goes under it to vacuum the edges
Thankyou for such a good review and also including that it's quite enough not to scare the little dogs !
Super quiet on max setting!
They need to make a white version….it would blend in aesthetically to a home so much better
How do you rate the dog hair detangling? You seem to have the oerfect test for this.
hmmm... I wish it was a full rubber bar. I'd have to give it a 7/10 as long as it vacuums every 2-3 days.
@@EverydayChris thank you!
Do you know if it's capable of running over wires if you need it to? For instance, we have cords at the entrance of our rooms for internet.
it sees the wires and avoids them completely.
Does the carpet get wet? it seems to me the mop pads, even lifted, do drag on the carpet?
I noticed that when lifted it does slightly touch the carpet but it isnt dripping as there's a reservoir inside the machine that wets it when in use

So yay or nay? I had the Dreame L20 Ultra, but the robot had so many defects I had to return it. Dreame’s return process is a pain!
what!!? I love the L20 Ultra lol. If I had to compare the L20 does have more features but this one is cheaper. They both clean just as well
What L20 does but not this product?
Does it lift up to go through door trim to go to another room ?
Depends how high the trim is! But it does lift up
Question do the spills get mixed in the brushes? And spread on your carpet area?
It doesn’t spread to the carpet but it does go on the pads and gets washed at the base station
This isn’t a review. This is just an advertisement.
Well crafted review, Chris! If my cleaning lady ever retires, I’ll buy one!
haha
Seems dog wanted to clean that ketchup first
How well does it wash the mop
