Yeah. It's a weird game-wide bug. Idk what causes it or why it hasn't been fixed yet, but it's present in every game mode, and it has been for about a month.

It makes sense when looking at other cards like kaboom bot. I’ve wondered for a while why kaboom bot deals four twice instead of 8 once but this makes more sense

@@markmauk8231 The golden Kaboom Bot does two independent 4-damage hits (double the hits of normal Kaboom Bot, equal damage per hit) rather than one 8-damage hit (double the damage, same number of hits).
He's making the comparison with Soul Juggler because golden Soul Juggler was dealing one 6-damage hit (double the damage of normal Soul Juggler, same number of hits), rather than two independent 3-damage hits (double the number of hits, same damage per hit).
He was pointing out that this was inconsistent and thus needed to be resolved.
@@andykeeler4514 It was inconsistent because they are totally different. One is a Mech with a death rattle, the other a normal Minion with an effect per dead demon. I don't see why there needs to be any consistence between the two

Cobolt guardian has been on top for so long. Demons have been either average or dumpster level since battlegrounds has started. Now that demons get a buff and it's a very light counter to cobalt, that's something to be concerned about? It doesn't even come into play if you don't triple the soul juggler, aka late game, aka demons weakest point. I think this is an amazingly well done buff to balance all the scales.
I don't disagree mechanically but at the same time its like demons everywhere T_T
I was always saying that two Jugglers was better than one Juggler that dealt double damage, so this buff is a welcome one.

I think that buff is a good thing. The damage is not increased and in the endgame demons seem to fall off due to their lack of divine shields or poison. Something that murlocs, beast or mechs either have themselves or have ways mitigate if not counter them.
Poison is probably still a problem, but this way they have a good way to counter divine shields.
The two most recent videos, this and the shifter zerus video have been cards I've wanted to see some how work. Nice stuff kripp
I never snipe the juggler so I always hate this minion but it was just okay when I played against updated version. It would be cool if they put in freeze minions that allowed you to freeze a shop minion so you can reroll the others and keep it, or freeze one of your minions for a turn so that they don't attack for 1 cycle, aka freezing Jugglers, Baron etc. But that could introduce some balance problems I can already tell

Yeah its more of a rebalance. Great against divine shields but potentially terrible against mechs.

It's just a graphical glitch that happens from time to time I see it a lot in BGs but it has popped up in my drafts for arena aswell

I feel like Kripp's biggest misplay was playing the Malganus immediately. IMO, he should've left it in his hand until he was at around 1 health in order to buff the Floating Watchers more.

Let's see how good the buff actually is. I mostly see this countering cobalt, which really needed a nerf anyways.
I always thought it was weird that the soul juggler was actually a better unit split into two instead of tripling it which really shouldn't be the case (pretty much only cobalt at this point is better split). Two pings of three can kill a cobalt while a single chunk of 6 cannot. Additionally you waste less damage killing things, especially tokens.
15:48 You should have played Siegebreaker first to buff Floating Watcher and then Mal' Ganis since the 1HP wouldnt make any difference

George with demons is nuts, but hard to pull off.
*If Nefarian doesn't have a good build. Nefarian is the hard counter to George in all circumstances, which is kinda annoying. 1 mana, undo 28 mana worth of shields from george, lol.
I had a godly mech build, going for an almost flawless first place. Got destroyed on the last fight by demons George. There was no Nef in the game. Felt bad :(

Putting Taunt on your big guy was a big mistake in my opinion, Curator always has at least one poisonous, one card that gets a heck ton of value by just slamming into your big guy. Should have protected him a bit more in that last round.
I hated juggler before. I really hate it now. Past handful of games I've gotten shredded by it.
This is a clear nerf because the best card in the game - Security Rover just got buffed like crazy

Keywords have been turning pink for no discernable reason since DoD released. It's just some graphic bug that Blizzard is too lazy to fix

Just played 3 games, 19/24 players in the games were full demon comps by turn 10. I played demons once in those 3 games, got first losing a single match as that pyramid guy. This NEEDS a hotfix, and fast.

Not really, watcher ended up pinging the divine shield off of the poisonous amalgam. Its stats didn't actually matter for the outcome

@Νικόλαος Nικολέτος Ah well sure but if you remember he also got another Watcher fairly early in the run which he sold since he couldn't get it to synergize with Mal' Ganis. If he had another big threat like that he coulda win. In any case, hindsight is always 20/20, regardless of bad poison rng not buffing the Watcher was a misplay.

Playing Malganis early wasn't strictly wrong. Yes, it does lower your maximum power in the late game by crippling the watchers, but it also adds a strong 5 star minion to the game early that buffs most of your board, meaning you often deal an extra 5 damage to your opponents with every victory (which, at that point, effectively kills them twice as fast), lessening the amount of time they have to pass you in strength. It's certainly questionable, just not inherently bad.
