@@bluematrix5001 necks are both Super Wizard, but 565 has reverse headstock. Anthony did a comparison 😎

Nowadays you can buy a mute to block unwanted notes. I found a simple hair tie cut and tied over the fretboard works just as well for 55 cents or so.

I'm very envious of guitarists with long pinkies. Having a good size palm is ok but stumpy fingers I find any of these licks tricky. I've just come back to playing again after not touching a guitar since I sold my Ibanez LP Custom in 1988. I never reached the standard I hoped but I did forget until now how much fun it is. So I find your videos a help. I must admit I don't watch many due to my slow pace but I think I can improve my level even though I just turned 60. Who knows. Anyway it had better because I just splashed out on a hardly used 2004 prestige this week. A deliberate move to force myself to practice more. I have to impress the wife by the end of the year or I'm getting divorced apparently.

Hey there I just wanted to mention that I don't see that many guitarists using their pinky to do tapping!
There's a Japanese guitarist called Ichika Nito who does some crazy tapping licks but he mainly plays with his 1st , 2nd and 3rd fingers and no use of his pinky. There are more advanced tapping players who use their pinky but if you're just coming back to guitar you shouldn't put too much pressure on yourself.
Also you need to check the set up of your guitar. If you don't know how to, I would highly recommend taking it to a luthier or guitar shop .
Considering you've bought an Ibanez prestige you should be able to afford the 50 to 150 dollars it costs to set up the action on your guitar and make sure it's properly intonated and so forth. If the guitar has not been played, it may require some setting up. I hope this helps !! You may think that the guitar should just play well considering its expensive. But often brand new guitars are not set up properly !
Anyway, I wish you the best of luck, and i hope you have a lot of fun with guitar!! It's meant to be fun :)!

@@Nickshreds890 Thanks for the advice friend it's very appreciated. I have an excellent luthier and he's already set up my other guitar which is a very modest RGR321EX. I'm having the pickup's changed on that one and as soon as it's ready to bring home I'll be dropping off the 1570. 👍👍

@Paulywarp You're welcome ! 😊 I just like to hear people are excited about guitar. Music is my life, and I would hate to hear that anyone missed out on guitar due to a crappy setup.
That's great to hear ! I personally take my guitars to a luthier too :) . ( I've played for 18 years, but I have a back condition, so I can't do much set up alone.. luckily my luthier is fantastic and a decent person ! )
