One storytelling trope I hate is a fabricated/unnecessary mystery. I am more invested in the communities reaction to the show, than the show itself. I don't care who is ultimately underneath the "Sith" helmet. Hiding the identity of person who is already in hiding...Is just a cheap way to build suspense. It takes less creativity than actually crafting an interesting "Sith" character through scripting and thematic conflict. I'd rather have the "Sith" character be completely unafraid of the Jedi Order and more of a larger than life character. Even if it turns out to be a character the show has already introduced...without the mask we could see the actor crafting a performance that is a completely different from their behavior in the flashbacks.
Potential: ✅ Sith perspective story similar to Darth Plagueis or Darth Bane novels; Sith warrior and inquisitor stories from SWTOR. ✅ Mature and grounded story similar to Andor but with the mysticism of the Dark Side. ✅ Well-written Sith protagonists part of a two-person organization in a thousand-year conspiracy to upset the Galactic status-quo. In-depth look at Sith philosophy as we follow a master/apprentice two vs an entire galaxy story. ✅ New Star Wars timeline. Reality: ❌ The Acolyte…. “The power of one, the power of two. The power of many.”
Dave isn't all that. He's the one in charge besides KK. If he was smart and truly didn't agree with this and was given lack of power so he couldn't say nothing to against it, he would leave. But the fact he's still there means he is in agreement
