I love what she says about "Batman is up there looking down on the city and Oz is on the ground looking up". Understanding the show from that view it really shifts your perspective on the dynamics in Gotham. Like, yes, Bruce Wayne's parents were murdered (Either by a random thug or the system that they were trying to clean up), but Bruce lived his whole life being provided for by his parents' money & Alfred. Yes, Bruce was tortured by his inner thoughts, but so is everyone else. So many people in the show suffered similar situations as Bruce, but they were left with nothing and are trying to scramble back to having a decent quality of life. This show grounds you and makes you realize the depravity & brokenness of Gotham.

I'm confused by this scene. Why is it the centurion's son instead of servant? In Matthew 8 the word used is παῖς (pais), which can mean "servant" or "child." This term sometimes implies a close or affectionate relationship, which could suggest that the servant was highly valued by the centurion. In Luke 7, the word used is δοῦλος (doulos), which more specifically means "slave" or "bondservant," so Matthew obviously refers to a servant, not a son. So we can conclude it is a servant with whom the centurion's heart is really close. One might say "But in John 4 it says 'son'" but I think that's actually a different story entirely because it's not a centurion but a nobleman or a royal official. In the centurion's story Jesus offered to go with him but the centurion says he's unworthy so he just asked Jesus to say that his servant was healed. In the nobleman's story the nobleman asked Jesus to come down but Jesus told him to go because his son was already healed. In the nobleman's story, Jesus challenges the nobleman about needing signs to believe, then assures him that his son will live.In the centurion's story, Jesus is struck by the centurion's faith and publicly praises it as exemplary. I already cringe whenever they make Jesus say something He never actually said in the Bible, and now they also change details from the Bible. It's odd.

Fun Fact Beauty and the Beast was going to have a show after The Enchanted Christmas but they put what they had into Belle's Magical World. WHICH felt like false advertising in the title nothing felt magical. And Lilo and Stitch did this with Stitch the movie as a pilot for their show too. And that show was the better than (Disney's) The Legend of Tarzan. Had to put that in the parentheses in there because there was a movie with that named that has Margot Robbie in it.
