That was really helpful as we get asked all the time from learners what apps are available and we find a lot are outdated from feedback. Just a heads up since you mentioned Unit 6 not being useful on one of the Apps, as of August 6th 2021, the LIBF syllabus for CeMAP 2 is changing with big changes that will also heavily effect Unit 5 in these apps as well. All current Unit 5 is now merging with Unit 6 and a whole new Unit 5 has been created (adding around 100 extra pages to syllabus). Learners should be careful in selecting apps going forward due to this. Again like your video and was very helpful
Hello Johnathan Great Videos and really help. At 52 I have jumped of the cliff and left a sales job that I was not enjoying for 2 years. Before that I was made redundant from a great sales role for 16 years. So now studying for CEMAP and reading like mad and then booked up for some Webinar's before hoping to check my Knowledge before doing the Exam, Can you actually tell me the Name of the App for 1&2 you were using, and where is the best place to get some Mock Tests and what sort of Money are they. Keep up the great work and I hope you are still enjoying your New(ish) Job Paul C
Hey Jonathan, I was just wondering with the CEMAP 1 app you said helped you with your exam. Did you get same questions from the app in the exam? I have gone through the Libf book aswell but doing more questions from the CEMAP 1 App which I downloaded on my Ipad.
I used it and passed with merit. Yeah there might be some things in it that may have altered like tax stuff but the FCA is still the FCA and IHT is still IHT and stocks and shares are still stocks and shares
Hi Johnathan, I am about to book myself onto my CeMAP exams and wanted to invest into some additional learning support to help me pass. I have whittled it down to two providers; Simply Academy and Future Trend (the virtual classroom training for both). Apart from about £200 in price difference, would you recommend either one over the other? Thanks for reading my message and I appreciate your time!
Her Rory, I used Paul archer bootcamp. I have looked at Simple Acadamy and their materials are very good. I believe they include a manual that breaks down the text book in bullet point form. Somone at work provided me with a couple of chapters (I don't have them now) I found it vary useful rather than reading the text book... Which I never did. So simple Acadamy. (I've not looked into the other one)
Hey man im looking to start my cemap journey and was looking for courses came across a legit website offering cemap study things like books past papers etc (simply academy) they offer a course called fast track do where they allow you to complete it in 5 days cos of all the help they give do you think its worth it?
Definitely, I took me 8 months to do with self study. Totally a believer in if you have the money to invest to have your CeMAP done quicker then go for it. You will make it back and then some just doing one mortgage. The average client for us is worth £2500 - mortgage and protection. So you will just end up earning quicker.
@@sym5241 I think it's built to take people through it who don't have any experience. I have known of people that have done it all in less than a month with know experience. I wish I did it that way :)
They weren't the same questions word for word, but they were the same question. For example What colour is the sky? Is the sky green true or false? To answer them questions you have to know what colour the sky is. So for example A question on the app might be Bill wants to put the maximum he can put in is cash ISA this tax year. He has already used £4,000 of his allowance. How much more can he put in? Then the question on the test might be Bob wants to put the maximum allowance in his ISA this year. How much can he put in? They are asking the same thing.

Well done, you need to find a network to join. Once you join a network the next step is to follow their Training and competence so you can get CAS ( status competent adviser status ) Then you can work by your self through a network. If you don't go through a network you have to go Directly Authorised by the FCA which is very very costly.
