Hi Johnny thanks for this video i am looking for a career change currently in the motor trade but want to do something different and this video has helped with motivating to go ahead and do it
That's great to hear Kam, honestly it's a grind both the exam and the job. However it's a job where you can make such a difference in people's lives and be rewarded for it. Go for it!
I self studied with no financial background. I would love to say that it was easy, but it was a challenge. I studied in between working 2 jobs and 2 kids. It took me a full year to get my CeMAP qualification. I failed 3 of the exams on 1st attempt. I remember reading about people passing the whole thing in a couple of months, but that wasnt my journey! I am now qualified and am starting as a trainee with a lasrge estate agent to get my foot in the door and gain CAS ✌🏻
Hi mate, I managed to pass cemap 1 in 20 days. Cemap 2 in 15 and cemap 3 in a month. My father has his own financial advisor company in Canary Wharf and I’d say that he helped me due to his knowledge in the industry. Advice I’d give is don’t be afraid to take it slow, I passed quick because I’m obsessive and motivated to a next level. But if you feel like it’s taking over your life, take a break
How did you pass it so quickly, I’ve got a month and a half left before it expires and I really want to pass it before it expires, any tips or other resources since the 500 page book is a lot to read this quick ? Thank you
Hi buddy I started my cemap 1 but I really found it tough even stressful but I’m breaking topic two days at a time to get consistency in learning the pros and cons of how the law and whole aspects of course works.your video is very useful.
Just did my CeMAP 1 exam this morning! The Google algorithm knows me well... Passed the second unit and failed the first. Completely new to me though, so I'll take that!
I would say it won't hinder. Think how can you use your knowledge of your degree and help you be a great mortgage adviser? - does it help you relate to people? Does it help you understand people better in relation to their needs?
Hi mate I just passed Cemap 1 took me 7 months and like yourself not from a financial background. I wanted to ask you how did you approach Cemap 2 and 3 did you study them together or separately as you passed them quickly and would you say Cemap 1 is the hardest like most people do ?
@hammer8383 Amazing stuff. CeMap 1 was the most difficult. CeMAP 2 is alot more about mortgage and protection and because of that, you will enjoy it more. Once you study and pass CeMAP 2, you are ready for CeMAP 3, as it's about putting everything together that you have just learned.
@@JohnathanMarcroft Hi mate im working my way through the text book. I just joined a Cemap group on FB someone people were saying that app you recommend that the questions were good as they were close to the real thing, so I was wondering if you found that to be true? I’m thinking about getting that app?
What’s your opinion on the speculation of future lack of demand due to individuals being replaced by AI to broker mortgages? Is it still worth doing thus cert for a future career?
My last 8 mortgages o did were worth £17,000. People will need advice. When ai comes in, it will only change the type of people that need advice. I was thinking about this the other day. I wouldn't worry.
Hi Johnathan, I am one of your follower. Please advise me about LIBF “CeMap Revision Tools (CRT). Is it worth to buy Full CRT covers all three modules £240? LIBF saying that there are hundreds of questions to go through. Thanks
I've not had it myself. I've heard people say it's a waste of money. Look at Paul archer bootcamp or simple academy. Paul archer has way more value for money

Hi Jacob,
Can I have your mail ID have some questions related to CeMap. Hope you can help.
I have a company that is offering training for passing Cemap free but I will have to give them 50% commission for 1 year in return
What do you think ?

Hi
Would it be possible to give exam only on the unit 1 and after a period of time in unit 2?
@@Andrew-sz7vh No, you have to take them both together
what happens after getting qualified ? do you have to work under a mortgage advisor for a while ? how long before you go solo ?
Hey, did you study off your own back from home? If so what study materials etc did you buy?
I’m in a sales and customer service role for the last 8 years... I don’t have any experience so are you likely to get a job with Cemap level 3
You would definitely be taken on for a trainee role. Look out for that video to come. I have a few videos coming this week.

The LIBF is one ONLY company that issues the CeMAP qualification.
