Mods have new definitions :- Stickers
I'd argue it is. Modifying the bikes look compared to original. Doesn't alter the performance in any way, but is for sure a "mod" in my head.
This is actually a gem of a video. I’ve been looking into mods and such for the RS660 for the past few weeks for when I inevitably get the bike, but no one had a solid spreadsheet or listing like you did!

1 year later and still the funniest intro I have ever seen in my life.
Very tasteful mods.. The yellow dartings are a nice touch. I personally wouldn’t put tinted films on my headlights, though. The bar end mirrors do look nice, but I can’t put myself to have those on my bikes because i need the bar ends clear for my hands.
All the mods are very nice. Next modification should be the exhaust system for give her a loud voice.

@Phil Heslop I went with the Mivv Underbelly one! really enjoy is, but the motobox def looks "better" imo
I’ve heard motobox service is terrible from many folks. But I am also unsure if a third party can vouch their engineering improves HP. So MIVV is the only option unless you go 2k on SC project titanium exhaust.

I've got the same bike in May 2022 col. Lava Red. I adore the bike. It's my first bike ever. I do not regret this choice. I'm getting used to the two wheels world in the best way! looking forward to upgrade in the next two or three years.

@@Cam_WightI started on an rs660 too and it’s been amazing! Buttt if you never touched a clutch before it cannn be a lot but my opinion get a bike you love no reason of getting a bike if you don’t love it

great looking bike! had a testdrive on a rs660 today! really love that bike. but I noticed in the video that you said you had an mt09 before, how come you changed to this bike? curious question as im thinking of getting an mt09 or maybe a rs660 😅. but rumors also says that R9 is gonna be released/announced on this years eicma and on the market next year so I'll see how it ends up but still my question remains :). and also speaking of "tracks" how is this on the track? not that Im a track driver (yet) but would be nice and fun to know . have a great day!

I wanted more of a sporty bike that wasn’t completely “raced out” since i’m doing most of my riding on the road.
The bike is fun on tracks, but as I’ve progressed through the (nearly) three years of ownership I’ve swapped the rear shock, and want to upgrade the front suspension. That being said it’s a GREAT all arounder, and definitely more fun on the track than the Mt09.
I’ve been following the R9-rumors closely since that’s on the top of my “to get” list as well. I believe we won’t see a 2024 model unfortunately, but what do I know. I hope it will be revealed on EICMA!
Nice video bro, are you thinking about changing the exhoust? I have no Idea whitch exhoust is the beste (Best sound and good performanc with a god look)
Currently just thinking about it. In Norway (at least) we lose our engine-warranty if I were to swap it with something other than aprilias akrapovic.
I have howerver looked at the Mivv and the austin racing ones - seeing that they are both underbelly 😍

How did you mount the mirrors to your bar ends? Did you purchase specific Bar end pieces? I struggle to finde some.
I used a pvc pipe as a spacer between the OEM barend. Similar to what i dit to my MT09 here:

What exactky did the front sprocket change did it effect the top speed or anything i dont know anything about these kind of mods would be great if u could elaborate
I could probably do a more in depth video about the specifics, but in theory you get faster acceleration, but the trade off is lower top speed. Also when I cruise on the highway the RPM is higher than what it would be stock, going the same speed. makes the bike way more fun, to sum it up :)

I’ve been riding from mid-april and still going. Just a couple of days left of this season for me I think, it’s starting to get kinda cold 🥶 (6-12 degrees C)

how much faster does it accelerate now with the new procket?
I'll have to come back to you with specifics, but now I can easily powerwheelie it in 1st gear, something I couldn't do with the stock gearing.
I'm considering trading my MT-07 for an RS660, given you ridden both before, do you think this is the right choice?
I’d say the rs660 is a lot more precise, so if you’re looking for a better feeling bike and something more sporty, the 660 is great! If you want the 660 because you want a “faster bike”, the 660 is not the next bike to get. Hopefully that was of any use brother :)
And then there's the Tuono with same engine if you're into the Hooligan side of things....

I've only had an oil leak due to a bad gasket, but other than than I haven't had any trouble!
Any ideas how to lower the bike I have the same one and is to tall lol

Where did you get the screen protector for the dash?
I believe this was from evotech. Just about forst thing i bought
Rapid Bike Race/Evo. Bike will be so much smoother. I have it on my Tuono 660

Does the RS feel as fast as the mt09? Or does the mt09 feel like it's in another realm ?
The 09 definetly have more power down low, and all around I'd say. But the rs660 feels quick as well, just not 'as' quick.

Why not tuck the license plate under the tail? Are there regulations that prevent that?
There are regulations, but that’s the plan! Waiting for a flip-plate thing from a manufacturer I might work with in the future 🤝

@@MrDrakenhoff Hi. Thank you for reply, what is I.G. Yes I would like to know more about your mods. I ceramic coated my Acid Gold bike and the very soft red paint on wheels. Very easy to do. Also put Probrake levers and crash protection on as well.

how have this guy owned a bike with a stock exhaust for over a year that is the first thing that goes when you buy a bike new and louder exhaust SC Project my favourite
By owning an exhaust I lost the warranty on this bike. Being an Aprilia, the choice was easy for the first two years. Stock exhaust sounded quite good tbh, but nothing like a proper exhaust og course

the bike desperately need an underbelly pan extender for those who install an aftermarket exhaust...that hole it's just disgusting

Not a fan of the yellow accents. Bar end mirrors are useless and look stupid on sport bikes. Sticker bombs is lame and an eyesoar.
