I love the idea of him just being enclosed in this wwe bubble.
I’m currently sitting in a waiting room for my doctor appointment and I’ve been laughing out loud while watching this much to the confusion of everyone around me.
It’s great to see Tooney back with the happy version of his song! And his line about switching over to American Express whenever he has VISA problems had me in stitches.
But the real star here was Puppet H. He was hilarious in this! Him not knowing what anything outside of WWE was spot on and probably a lot more real than we give him credit for.

It’s sad to see what the Hardy’s have turned into. Listening to you talk about how much you love sting and what you’ve seen him turn into is my exact feeling with the Hardy’s. I moved around North Carolina a lot as a kid but grew up in Moore County. I grew up in a town 10 minutes away from Cameron. The Hardy boys went to my elementary/high schools they’re basically legends around here. I guarantee you 90% of people in NC now have no idea what the Hardy’s have been turned into on AEW tv. If they saw what those boys do now for checks they laugh or shake their heads and not watch.

I'm definitely more on the casual end of the wrestling fan spectrum... probably why I've always favored WWE because it is usually more casual fan friendly than other companies. So I don't actually watch PPVs (or even PLEs) when they happen and instead I watch various RUclips video of the matches. So what I saw in the several videos of Sting's final match looked to be little more than an overbooked spot-fest shitshow with the only positive being that Sting came out victorious over Wingus and Dinugs. Not a match I'd really rate highly or think fondly of in the long run.
That all being said I really do appreciate that you take the piss out of both AEW and WWE when they deserve it, and they have both done a lot of shit that deserves it. But most of all I really appreciate the humor that goes into taking the piss out of them. This was another video I laughed through many times.

My wife and I stopped watching AEW after a combination of no storylines to watch that were worth it (outside of maybe MJF), and she asked some fans about Kazuchika Okada and Jay White when they first appeared on AEW. They weren't happy that she didn't instantly know who those two were and they came out the first time she saw them like they were just normal wrestlers (Okada coming out in a t-shirt for god sake). I did explain to her since I watched a lot of New Japan myself at the time. It does look like they gave Will Ospreay a little more fanfare last week but I wonder if it's too little too late for them.

The CMLL “no other luchadoors” might be a misleading. I think the rule is no other wrestlers from triple A can be in a match with a CMLL wrestler, but they can still appear on the same shows

The reason Toony isn't use AAA anymore is that TNA made a major partnership with them at Hard To Kill. He hates TNA because he knows their product and wrestlers are better. That's why TNA is the only company that can't enter the Forbidden Door. No, the so called "partnership" between them was a joke. Only the Good Brothers appeared on Dynamite, because they were Bullet Club.
Ah good point. He jobbed the whole TNA roster out to Kenny and cut promos on them on their shows about how much they such without ever giving them their heat back. It was disgraceful.
@@ToonWrestling Not sure if I've said it here before, but Tony Khan showed that the door was never forbidden, it was just kept shut by major promotions for a reason! Unless the two (or more) bookers work together in a smart fashion (like they did with the NWA travelling champion), it usually just means that one promotion will get the benefit and the other is diminished. It didn't matter so much when you couldn't hear what was happening elsewhere (like most fans not knowing how the US guys got on in Japan), but in the modern era you have to be fair to each promotion.
it's why I'm hoping that TNA and NXT work together for their women's divisions - with it being a bright spot in TNA, and NXT being developmental, then NXT can put over the TNA talent without it being detrimental to them, and maybe gives some of the NXT talent a place to develop outside of the WWE. At the same time, if you get an extraordinary NXT talent, a TNA midcarder could put them over as they head to the main WWE roster
I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!! With that being said, I constantly hear people say that Sting's WWE run was the WORST of his CAREER, well I beg to differ. A lot of the fans/marks that are making these comments NEVER saw his Memphis run OR wasn't born then as I was. Even though it was his rookie year, it's STILL part of his career.

The character of Trips just gets better after each episode. Triple H isn't painfully socially awkward like Tony and Dave but, the creation of Trips brings humor by being a wealthy and oblivious meathead. Trips got some jokes.

I saw an article that said Tony Khan is suspending Adam Page for his actions after his match, at Revolution.
So, he's finally going to stick to the new disciplinary rules, with Sammy. While also using the rules to suspend someone for story purposes. I'm sure other companies have done similar things, but for some reason this feels really weird.

To be fair sting's run was cut so short by the injury it's hard to criticize the booking without acknowledging the injury.
It is one of my greatest disappointments of my wrestling life. Sting is one of my favorite wrestlers and it was crazy that he was finally going to wwe. A real shame it was cut so short.

I'm still shocked Tony Khan did the right thing and put Sting over. More the fact he got the Rod and Todd Flanders to do it. As great as Sting's overall retirement was, and the involvement of his sons. All anyone will remember from this is Darby's dumb ass spot, which could have done serious injury to him, and also shot shards of glass into the audience. Remember folks. "Steven P News." WWE also did the right thing by acknowledging the match and retirement, taking the high road, and showing how you mention another company in a positive light. I also laugh at how people are saying Revolution was the "Best PPV ever" when it was a 2 match show. Stings retirement and Takeshita vs Ospreay. Of course a shock to no one Opsreay nearly got injured in his first official match on the AEW roster. Sammy should be punished for this, but the ref should also be punished for letting the match continue. This is just like when Ric Knox let the Moxley/Fenix match continue. The refs need to be held accountable. But I find it interesting Sammy is only now getting suspended almost a month after the incident. Makes you wonder if there isn't more to this... like the debut of a certain Mercedes "BOTCH TIME" Mone.

My controversial take among this side of wrestling fandom is that this is the one match where Darby doing a big dumb stupid spot is okay. Now, could that have just been a table spot and did the same thing? Yes. Unfortunately table spots have been so neutered it wouldn’t have meant as much.

Tony Khan turning Sting into a crash test dummy for his AEW run was a weird way for him to go out.
This is the best headlock headlines video so far. Loved the glass breaking part with trips. Every joke landed so well. Also the transitions between topics from schMeltzer and Tooney were seamless.
Also Dave Meltzer’s hypocritical ass needs to pack it in and retire to keep any credibility he once had
Love this! But in the spirit of friendly disagreement, I don't mind a feelgood retirement match where the retiring wrestler gets their hand raised one last time. I think I'd prefer to consider their legacy, whether they made stars in their career or buried everyone in their path. Then let their last match be situational...maybe it's right to have them go out counting lights. But maybe it's also right to let the fans celebrate with them for that final moment.
Just speaking as a guy who loved Roddy Piper's first retirement match and Flair's first retirement match.

After going through a massive WrestleMania rewatch and finishing WM 35 and how Kurt Angle's retirement was handled, I do have to give some respect to AEW not just for Sting's run but the handling of his retirement and final match. To not even let Kurt pic his last opponent was such a dick move from Vince.
Certain guys are deserving of a big retirement and farewell tour and while I've never been the biggest Sting fan, I do respect him and what he's done in the business. Like, as unselfish and poorly handled good portions of his career was, Ihave no problem with him going out with a win.

And not only did Sting lose to Seth, but he lost to Seth just minutes after Seth lost to Cena. That buried him even more so, not being able to beat guy, while Sting was completely fresh, and facing a guy who had just lost a match. Think Sting's domination of AEW had to be done so he could get his credit back. Also, I agree, him losing to Beavis and Butthead during his last match, I would have hated it too. And I'm actually surprised that none of the fans was injured. Seeing clips of that glass spot looked like wasn't just dangerous to the wrestlers, but anyone else around. Anyways, enjoyed this video, thank you.

That deal is actually controlling the nationality of the wrestlers in cross promotional matches? I think it's funny that he would bend TNA over and then bend over for CMLL. Not only does that destroy the all inclusive gimmick but CMLL has primitive/traditional trios finishes . Even AEW fans won't tolerate the simultaneous triple pins.
