Dr. Rajendra Singh Praises the Water Cup (पुरस्कार सोहळ्यात 'जलपुरूष' डॉ. राजेंद्र सिंह यांचे भाषण)

सत्यमेव जयते वॉटर कप २०१७ पुरस्कार सोहळ्यात 'भारताचे जलपुरूष' व जलसंधारण तज्ज्ञ डॉ. राजेंद्र सिंह हे उपस्थित राहिले आणि गावकऱ्यांनी केलेल्या कामासाठी त्यांनी शुभेच्छा दिल्या.
"माझ्या ३५ वर्षाच्या कार्यकाळात पाण्यासाठी एवढ्या मोठ्या प्रमाणात गावकरी एकत्र झालेले मी प्रथमच पहिले." असे मत व्यक्त करत त्यांनी गावकऱ्यांचे भरभरून कौतुक केले.
Well-known water conservationist Dr. Rajendra Singh (also known as "waterman of India") graced with his presence the awards distribution ceremony for the Water Cup 2017. He had kind words to say about the Water Cup and the shramdaan-led development that it achieved. Praising the villagers’ efforts, he said, “In my 35 years of work, this is the first time that I am seeing villagers coming together on such a large scale for watershed development."
