Excellent!!..brings back memories of childhood (and teenage) days of travelling on WAM-4 powered trains. Note the sound of the cooling fans and also the turbine-like sound of the tractions motors powering up.

awesome video Sir, brings back my childhood. I was 2 years old that time. I love the maroon color coaches. Also that time, it was far less crowd in the stations even in the train itself. Only one AC coach that too a 2 tier. Now we have so many, but the sleeper coaches now are so over crowded, that time it was a pleasant ride. Old is gold. Hats off to you sir, for this awesome video. Its a diamond now, we will never get to see all these now.

    Sir,
Those days only some trains were given Red-Yellow livery. I knew of trains from SR like TN, GT, Karntaka, Kerala, Mangala. AP and Dakshin was running with regular brown coaches. All the SE railways trains to Bombay had the same brown livery. Red-Yellow was very selective and were not seen every where. I lived in Chandrapur near Nagpur in 90s and I remember most of them.
