Yes most tech companies allow ece folks to sit for placement drive and infact some of the best placement are from ece folks. So it totally depends on how you perceive once get in the college

So in that case I would choose iiitnr. But if iiit n has incredibly good placement then go for iiitn or else consider other parameters too.
