I appreciate that you've continued doing these challenge videos, I know a lot of people stopped doing the randomizer nuzlockes once they became common. But please continue! These videos don't take a quick randomizer app, they take weeks too actually accomplish, and people appreciate that That, and not many ads Carry on good sir!
Yeah, I find the ads to be a big pain in the bum. I do get decent money from them which allows me to keep doing these but I don't wanna overburden you guys. Can't wait to put out more! In the meantime, definitely check out the Mega Man stuff, I know it's not what most people come to this channel for but I think that's where most of my passion is.

I will say respect to your patience to all these challenges. I’m actually attempting to do pokemon black professor oak challenge. And it took me 39 hours to evolve 4 pokemon if that means anything. But most of everything is luck, I was really inspired by you and thank you, I’ve really enjoyed my time trying to break my game to it’s limits.
I mean I got past that part but after that the section section only took like a max of 4 hours due to audino grind, but you also have to grind dust clouds in the caves to get evolving stones for the elemental monkeys and that’s just pure luck, but I’m staying strong.
Rotjochie 44 it’s weird because I checked and it didn’t seem like they hold those items in the wild, they only seemed to hold berries that resists it’s type and oran berries, but I really appreciate your help.
Yoku have no idea how happy it makes me that you took the time to do math on your Pokemon runs and share the findings xD I was recently doing a gen 3 challenge run and ended up calculating a bunch of probabilities for how many items I could expect to get from a full team of zigzagoons with pickup
@@steveboy3712 You don't need to be able to Fly to Ever Grande, as long as you defeat Juan (or Wallace in RS) you can use Waterfall, and since you've defeated Norman to use Surf and Tate/Liza to use Dive to get to Sootopolis to fight Juan, you have all the HMs you need to walk into Victory Road

Luckily i dont play pokemon anymore so i dont have to suffer😂
if you press select in the PC the hand will turn yellow and you can move one pokemon or groups of highlighted pokemon without the menus interfering and it happening instantly. I'm sure there could've been some time saved here if you navigated menus more efficiently but really interesting run nonetheless. really good stuff! Edit: forgot you caught Wurmple, Silcoon, and Cascoon separately. You could've caught wurmple, evolved it before petalburg woods, and then caught the cocoon pokemon you didn't get so you could save on balls and time.

dude that might take a very long time because johnstone already done that challenge on pearl and he took him 4 months to finish because of lot a stuff like: honey trees post-game pokeradar evolutions happiness evolutions etc...

These challenges look like fun. Just started with Pokemon Sapphire and in just over an hour I got a rare candy and 2 pp up. Going to expand on this challenge by having Pokemon only have moves of their type. For example Linoone can only have four normal type moves while Swampert can have two ground and two water type moves.
Make sure the power supply in your computer is up to par and good quality. They tend to be overlooked, but a good power supply is important for system stability. Nothing causes corruption and strange bugs quite like a power supply struggling to keep all of the components up to the correct voltages.
I’m posting time stamps of my rate of completion of this exact challenge except no speed ups and dry battery since I have a physical cartridge. To anyone reading this hi tell me what gym you see when I edit this comment to update my progress and feel free to ask any questions. Started August 17th 2021 Gym 1(1:20)- completed 42:59 in game hours and almost 2 months to complete Gym 2-3(12:36)- completed 63:26 in game hours and finished about 2 weeks after beating gym 1 Gym 4(17:34) - Completed 81:28 in game time, my luck with rare candies was really bad. Took almost a month to complete Gym 5(21:51) - Finished with 92:57 in game hours, took only a week thanks to having a lot of free time. Got better with rare candy luck Gym 6(24:25)- Failed as I was stuck in high tide in my dry internal battery so I have to reset, welp attempt 2 will be down below. Started November 16th 2021 stopped because I’ve not had enough time to do this again, might be able to in the summer
I tried many times to catch every Pokémon in my sapphire version to complete the Hoenn-dex at least, but I stopped, when it came to version-exclusives like Mawile, to evolve Pokémon like Kadabra or to optain only one of the two fossils, because I wasn't able to trade. 😅 Weepinbell, the forest king (from starter squad) would've said "Challenge faaaiiiled!" 😂

As someone who has fire red, leaf green, emerald, ruby and sapphire just to complete the dex on all 5 games and completing battle frontier in emerald, I feel your pain. Started my sapphire game a week ago but haven't found the motivation to finish it

Watched it all, well played, but I was mostly interested in how long it would end up taking to find Feebass. I never had the patience to do it legit more than one time.
I remember this was my first Pokemon game when I was 5 years old. over 1 and a half years I managed to catch about 200+ Pokemon until my uncle took away my emerald and gave me a fake version while he sold the real version to his friends. That was 2011 rip
I used the daycare while i attempted the challenge for super high levelled evolutions, there is not explicit rule against it which could save a lot of time. Yes linoone rare candy strats do net you enough rare candies but its just more for time effeciency
Man if you have never sat in the back of an almost empty moving tryck then you’re missing out. It was oddly fun, like you weren’t supposed to do it but where at the same time. I was even playing emerald when I did it XD mid-game tho so not perfect timing
Ive captured all the pokemons in hoenn before aside from the trading shitty thing since i dont know how to do that and only few play that game before here in my place. 1 thing i discovered new from this video is that I can catch that wood looking pokemon thingy around the battle frontier lol

That requires completing the National Dex, and since this is only a challenge for how many Pokemon you can catch within this game and this game only, trading between games isn't allowed.
I haven't done a POC yet, but I do tend to at least acquire every available catch as I go through the game, then grind them up with exp share at the elite four. That said, my recent run of sapphire took much longer than this, so I'm not entire sure where I lost the time, considering I did most of my grinding at the elite four, rather than against low level pokemon. I'm guessing it's because I wasn't too careful to catch the highest level versions of each pokemon, plus I didn't have 5 pickup pokemon the whole time, usually having 2-4 of them at any given time. Also, I wasn't really treating it like a speedrun, so I imagine there was a fair bit of idle time.
All of your Pokemon can go to current gen from an emulator by following a lot of steps: -covert the save file to .Sav -inject to a gba cartridge -transfer to Pokemon Platinum with a DS Lite -Put Platinum in a 3DS with Pokemon Bank -Bank to Pokemon Home

You don't actually need the Feather Badge to access the victory road,so you could catch Mawile before Winona

Fairly sure this is R/S exclusive, as it’s been replaced in Emerald. Not entirely sure, though.

I noticed one mistake: you could’ve entered Victory Road without the Feather Badge, ending with your total of 171 with 7 badges.

Zigzagoons also evolve at lvl20 but all of his stayed normal. I found it quite strange.

Sorcery has happened when the male Marill at 2:47 became a female one at 29:24...
Normally, it's the other way around.
Its a bug because marril is 50/50 and azumarril is 75/25 (female/male)

As someone who has fire red, leaf green, emerald, ruby and sapphire just to complete the dex on all 5 games and completing battle frontier in emerald, I feel your pain. Started my sapphire game a week ago but haven't found the motivation to finish it

Watched it all, well played, but I was mostly interested in how long it would end up taking to find Feebass. I never had the patience to do it legit more than one time.
I remember this was my first Pokemon game when I was 5 years old. over 1 and a half years I managed to catch about 200+ Pokemon until my uncle took away my emerald and gave me a fake version while he sold the real version to his friends. That was 2011 rip

I used the daycare while i attempted the challenge for super high levelled evolutions, there is not explicit rule against it which could save a lot of time. Yes linoone rare candy strats do net you enough rare candies but its just more for time effeciency

Ive captured all the pokemons in hoenn before aside from the trading shitty thing since i dont know how to do that and only few play that game before here in my place. 1 thing i discovered new from this video is that I can catch that wood looking pokemon thingy around the battle frontier lol

That requires completing the National Dex, and since this is only a challenge for how many Pokemon you can catch within this game and this game only, trading between games isn't allowed.

I was doing my first nuzlocke and got skitty super early game I didn’t know it was only a 2% encounter rate
I just turn on the fast forward on my emulator to 16x and wait it out. Usually takes 10-15 minutes, which translates to 3-4 hours normal gameplay.
I didn’t know you didn’t have to fight brawls before fighting watson
I haven't done a POC yet, but I do tend to at least acquire every available catch as I go through the game, then grind them up with exp share at the elite four. That said, my recent run of sapphire took much longer than this, so I'm not entire sure where I lost the time, considering I did most of my grinding at the elite four, rather than against low level pokemon. I'm guessing it's because I wasn't too careful to catch the highest level versions of each pokemon, plus I didn't have 5 pickup pokemon the whole time, usually having 2-4 of them at any given time. Also, I wasn't really treating it like a speedrun, so I imagine there was a fair bit of idle time.

All of your Pokemon can go to current gen from an emulator by following a lot of steps:
-covert the save file to .Sav
-inject to a gba cartridge
-transfer to Pokemon Platinum with a DS Lite
-Put Platinum in a 3DS with Pokemon Bank
-Bank to Pokemon Home

You can have multiple stacks of 99, but there's still a limited number of spaces in the bag.
