I’ve been thinking that cards with token summoning effects should be very specific about what tokens can be used for (tributes, synchros, etc.) otherwise they end up getting used for degenerate combos

not mentioned here are the times: mbt summoned tomohawk in the main monster zone clogging his board, used rite of aramsir and then trying to use a normal summon effect, filled every zone on the field not letting himself summon the baby bird, sent an armed dragon with foolish burial then realizing they only trigger on dragon sends, sending all his xyzs with pot of prosp except for zeus, and worst of all he cut underworld goddess who is bae. This deck is indeed hard.

True but only for the specific replay MBT showed us, in which he is going second, his opponent plays baronne and summons it and also have enough cards to both bait the baronne negate and also put it in the gy so Then you could summon the wind charmer link to steal it. Bear it in mind that the ED is super tight because it is literally a combo deck that is relying on tomahawk resolving its effect so believe me winda is not good in here
@@heyguysdavehere2609 The wind charmer is a spellcaster, while Harpie conductor is a winged beast. This is relevant because the Simorgh link monster requires specifically 2+ monsters, one of wich needs to be a winged beast. So you can't use the wind charmer to climb into it.
Armed Dragon Thunders are cards that read absurd, and then you read 10 and realize "this deck has no wincon." It's genuinely better to go into the original Lv10 because that, at least, is a WIND Dragon that discards to trigger the other ADTs. Maybe this is too far in the other direction, though.

At least the original let's you destroy all monsters which the retrain cannot do unless you're in the grindiest game of your life which kinda defeats the point of big bungus attack

If you run the codebreaker package you can always end on masq, union carrier and simorgh. Reprodocus also works as a cheaper alternative to the harpie link if you dont want to waste your SR materials
Interesting. I've been playing Wyrm Synchro, which has a Tomahawk in the MMZ = Full combo thing with Auroradon (but you're usually hoping to see Red Rose with Gryphon Rider or a Tenyi 7, and most games you win by normal summoning a tuner and making Halq.)

I recently incorporated part of this into my Harpie deck using Channeler to summon Pet Dragon and going into Tomahawk. It's super inconsistent and bricks more often than not, but I like playing Harpies and this at least makes them more viable for rank play. Plus Feather Storming your opponent is so satisfying.

Seems like a pretty powerful strategy considering the best of 1 format Although It's weakness may lie in the "uniqueness" of the master duel playerbase. With how much some love kaijus, droplet and other uninteractable board break options this might not hit the charts that an honest strategy like swordsoul does. Still tho, finally cool to see what galaxy tomahawk could do in a real game after seeing it on the banlist for so long.
This deck folds to ash, inperm, effect veiler and with non optimal hands to droll too. Going second is like impossible if they know to just stop tomahawk.
Voloferniges is also a dragon, which means if you detach, it triggers Thunder Lv7. If you play Blitz and the original Armed Dragons, toggle on in your draw phase, use Flash in your Standby for OG lvl3, evolving into a free OG lvl5. It's Rank 5 Material, can pop a monster, or climb into OG lvl7 after battle phase for a Rank 7 Material. Pile, Lightning and Thunderbolt can boost Lv10 to 10k for a board wipe. Artillery Catapult Turtle or Knight of Armor Dragon can bring out the lv5s. Mound of the Bound Creator helps protecting your Lv10 and can potentially search Sphere Mode. Dragunity Arma Gram is similar to Tempest, but can also negate effects.
This infinite negate loop is much easier to set-up and play through hand traps using the lunalight rank 4 engine, especially with lunalight tiger at 3 in MD.
So you remove cool interactions and combos to keep unhealthy gimmick cards legal? Tomahawk is either the most broken thing under the sun or unplayable depending on whether you can use the tokens. Also ironically enough most issues that tokens cause in the current game are related to synchro summoning.

And that Synchro summoning happens off of Halq most of the time, another card that should just be dead. Tokens where never meant to do this. Scapegoat was never meant to do this.

I got against this deck (minus adventurer) a couple months ago in silver and I didn"t know at that time the negate was not a once per turn, felt like I wasted my time the long turn one of my opponent after trying to activate my second effect
Wait so what if I cut the adventurer cards for the OG auroradon halq plays? Like 1 deskbot 1-2 o-lion, this way, if my opponent veiler/imperm my tomahawk, I can normal a tuner ht and make halq and play from there.
If you want to play that way, go check out ycs yokohama first place braveGS/heroGS/yushaGS. Playing with this kind of method not exactly optimal and efficient.
IMO, it's kinda lame when archetypes get abused as engines for enabling generic wombo combo nonsense, but seeing LV monsters doing anything moderately good is a win in my books. Now if only Horus could get support, I got a bone to pick with them green cards.

Holy shit this is some pricey as hell deck. Granted, cool as fuck deck, and I think styling on your opponent with GaTom is worth the cost. Tho I wonder if you can cut down on the Armed Dragons to make space for Crossout and/or more hand traps. Just having Called By, Maxx C, and Ash feels vulnerable as fuck lmao.
You could but then you are banking on having your max c resolve more often then not in order to draw your combo pieces and not have just a hand full of handtraps and related cards. It's just a middling/fun deck not top tier. And people who say these types of decks are expensive AF cant possibly be counting the ashs max c and called by are part of the cost to make the deck at this point or even the unicorn halq and accesscode.
Ghost Ogre and Snow Rabbit can be chained to its on-field effect at least and open the floodgate. Given that Maxx "C" isn't quite as useful with all the Floowandereeze decks in ladder ATM, it might be worth teching in Ghost Ogre and maybe Emergency Teleport to search it for that utility.

Built this (or the main and important extra stuff, ran out of UR for some things) and did three games. First I misplayed bad by botching link zones and scooped, but both others went incredibly well. I did throw in Thunder Lv 10 because...well, why not, though i doubt I'll ever summon him

IMO, it's kinda lame when archetypes get abused as engines for enabling generic wombo combo nonsense, but seeing LV monsters doing anything moderately good is a win in my books. Now if only Horus could get support, I got a bone to pick with them green cards.

Holy shit this is some pricey as hell deck. Granted, cool as fuck deck, and I think styling on your opponent with GaTom is worth the cost.
Tho I wonder if you can cut down on the Armed Dragons to make space for Crossout and/or more hand traps. Just having Called By, Maxx C, and Ash feels vulnerable as fuck lmao.
You could but then you are banking on having your max c resolve more often then not in order to draw your combo pieces and not have just a hand full of handtraps and related cards. It's just a middling/fun deck not top tier.
And people who say these types of decks are expensive AF cant possibly be counting the ashs max c and called by are part of the cost to make the deck at this point or even the unicorn halq and accesscode.

Ghost Ogre and Snow Rabbit can be chained to its on-field effect at least and open the floodgate. Given that Maxx "C" isn't quite as useful with all the Floowandereeze decks in ladder ATM, it might be worth teching in Ghost Ogre and maybe Emergency Teleport to search it for that utility.

Yeah, it’d be weird to call a deck armed dragon just because it uses a couple of armed dragons as part of it’s combo wouldn’t it? That’d be like calling a rank 3 goodstuff deck ‘ghostrick’ because of a few ghostrick xyzs in the extra deck

@@madanotap6492 oh I know, I hate it when someone throws a 3-4 card engine into a deck and then puts the engine’s name into the deck. That leads us to every deck in the format having adventure in it. I hate it even more when they throw in 3-4 cards of an archetype and name the entire deck off of it!

Built this (or the main and important extra stuff, ran out of UR for some things) and did three games. First I misplayed bad by botching link zones and scooped, but both others went incredibly well. I did throw in Thunder Lv 10 because...well, why not, though i doubt I'll ever summon him
I have played against this so much since this video. Just negate the effect of tomahawk or Dracossack if you have the option to wait that long, and call it good

came up with it and sent it to Sparado.
Chiko asad was actually the first to profile armed tomahawk, and raptor rapture came up with the infinite negates combo
Master Duel is my link to the game outside of RUclips, and the best part is despite the fact I’m playing on challenge mode (no crafting) and my best deck is Ancient Warrior or Tri-Brigade (both somewhat incomplete), it’s still the epik geymeeng I’m looking for. Sitting around in Gold, where you’re fighting against other players who range the gamut from “I’m trapped in this hell save me” and “this is just a footnote for my Diamond Destiny,” I’ve gotten all sorts of ridiculous matchups I’m never gonna see in tournament playbacks, and the jankier side of the game’s why I love it as much as I do.
So uh, Joe, any shot an Ancient Warrior Tri-Brigade list is lying around in that brain of yours? Asking for a friend (:
