I think when you do the popup showing enemy stats, for specifically Akus with shields it would be good to list their kb count as well to contextualize the shield
Lilin works wonders here, with her surge and pierce she can constantly juggle Midnite D and has enough HP to survive a couple of hits from the boss. For me, it's 6 total hits (including surges) to kill the D, but if she dies early after only 4 or 5 hits, you can time Supercar for the last few hits. Having Lilin takes most of the the treat of the stage away because Midnite D is the main problem. Lasvoss also works fantastic, he can kill Gokurakko in a couple of hits and can get some damage in on the boss or on Puffington.
Yeah tried lilin, counter surge isnt that bad cause it either misses or the units you have on the field are surge immune or can just tank it ( like hevijak). Helps obliterate the first midnight d and actually helps destroy the bosses shield if you can keep her on long enough, mine managed to stay the entire fight preventing me from needing the time supercar
7:07 Balrog was actually great for the midnite D. Given Riki and hevijacks defence up combos he could tank midnite D until strengthen then one shot it. Even without combos you could get the midnite D to strengthen him then thunderbolt it so that balrog can one shot it.
Lasvoss strats will always be so satisfying to watch and pull off. Something about deleting a high hp enemy’s existence is just so amazing. Ultra form better triple down on his one shot potential. I want 50% savage blow chance, reduced cost, easier berserk activation, and MORE DAMAGE.
When Puffington comes out in the normal strategy, when there's no units on the field, you can use breakerblast to make it come to your base faster to reduce the chance of Idi hitting the Midnite D.
I like how Ponos is using music from ItF and CotC. In this stage, they use music from ItF moon. It's great that Ponos is putting these in more stages now.
Fun fact: Luffy + cat researcher COMPLETELY trivialize this stage i just used meatshields, luffy and cat researcher and i absolutely destroyed this stage. But thats to be expected of luffy tbh
