I am 100% in agreement that Jackson is a baller. He is absolutely getting better and his all around game is legit. As he continues to improve, I think we have an absolute baller on our hands. I think a Samu O or Duran type signing for some striker rotation on not crazy wages would be good, but an experienced CB and a legit #1 GK should be our priority signings. We could also play Felix at false 9 to give us a bit of a different look in certain games I think Nkunku prolly needs to be sold for his sake in the summer bc he doesn’t fit the Maresca system, obv he is a baller but his profile doesn’t mesh with the personnel/system. He’s not starting over our boy 🥶 Palmer, Nkunku kinda sucks on the wing and is not a true #9. Kind of a square peg round hole situation with him unfortunately
We need a striker. Jackson is OK, does well, but it’s like having Furlong and Spencer and then getting Mark Hughes, the quality is noticeably up a level. We get a quality striker and people will notice the difference. Jackson doesn’t have the striker instinct, when the ball goes in the box he doesn’t sniff the right place to go to get the goal.
Jackson has so many attributes that compliment the strategy and players around him. He’s improving aspects of his game too. He looks more clinical and efficient.
Again, about to be deluded twice on V.Osimhen obsessions you all have; on loan to Galatasaray till summer if in January his new Clause will not be paid till last cent this time, 75 Mlns., plus 9 of Bonus cash and V.Osimhen already rejected Chelsea and have other plans like Napoli! This time bo one can full around or he’ll be back at Napoli who have the last deciding word on it!
Never ever heard a sensible take on this channel. In today’s news (according to these lot) - Osimhen & Gyokeres aren’t world class, but Chelsea should go for Thuram…… make it make sense 😂😂😂
Who we bring in, depends on who we can get out imo.. if we can shift the guys that are poor this season.. we will definitely need a striker, cb and goalie. If we can’t then it becomes more complicated.
We fans think too much , in the summer , jackson himself was liking posts linking osimhen to chelsea , like we have plenty of games for enough game time and all top clubs have a good bench too .
You can’t rely on one “real” striker for a big club and 5 competitions. RM has 4 strikers. Lpool has 4 strikers. U need different profiles for tactical flexibility, injuries, illness, suspensions etc. Think like a big club.
If you are happy with jackson being your no.1 , you are happy with mediocrity . Do you actually see jackson go head to hesd against defenders like rudiger / araujo / van dijk , he will literally fold . Thats where an osimhen comes in . Who HAS scored goals against chelses in the champions league (with lille ) against rudiger and tomori ,2 tall and physical defenders . Who has wrung out van dijk leading to van dijk fouling him to stop him . Who has scored against barca in champions league knockout rounds . And dont tell me osimhen has become rubbish after a year .... even in his "bad season" he had 15 goals in 25 games which is more than 1 goal every other game , which is amaizng considering napoli as a whole were rubbish . + this year in galatasary ( yes it is the turkish league ) he has 9 goals in last 6 games . 2 against spurs ( a PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM ) . Jackson is great but against low-blocks he goes missing . E,g crystal palace and forest . Thats where osimhen gives you an alternate route . Sancho/ neto / palmer / enzo / james giving a cross in the box against a low block and osimhen will probably score that ir get corner . Jackson can win you battles but not the war .
"And dont tell me osimhen has become rubbish after a year" Osimhen managed to reach "elite" once in his entire career and frankly he's been a bit mediocre every season aside from Napoli's winning season. The hype levels around him is ridiculous. People are coming up with all kinds of silly mythology about how good he is. Meanwhile, Jackson managed to play 3500 minutes for Chelsea last season. When did Osimhen ever manage to play 3500 minutes for his club team? Answer is never. If he can't stay fit for more than 2000-2500 minutes a season in Serie A then he's probably not going to fare that much better in the Prem. And fun fact, last season Jackson had more goal contributions for Chelsea than Osimhen did for Napoli. Want another fun fact? Osimhen has only once in his entire career as a striker managed to do better than Jackson's goal contributions last season. Which was Jackson's first full season as a striker.
@Monochromatic_Spider you must be hit in the head to even suggest Jackson is better than osimhen . By the way you talk ,you seem to never have watched osimhen play football . Osimhen was amazing for lille he was a teenager there and he scored against chelsea in the champions league with them (NOT IN NAPOLI ). After winning the scuddetto ,in a "bad year" osimhen scored against Barca in the champions league ( NOT IN NAPOLI'S WINNING SEASON ) . This season ,yes it is just galatasaray but he can only do what he can against the opponent he gets ,9 goals in last 6 matches ( 2 against spurs A PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM ) You should just watch how osimhen plays and then watch chelsea ,how they struggle against a low-block ,how they seem to have literally no end product against a Liverpool at anfield or man city . Osimhen and Chelsea rn are literally complementary. + At napoli / lille / gala he never had the level of Creation he will at chelsea . Here we have james/ gusto / neto spamming crosses in . Enzo / sancho / caicedo / palmer giving long balls / through balls . + he is an experienced proven player ,he is a leader, a set piece threat and even helps defending them . Jackson is too scared to even go in for 1v1 headers . And if you like stats so much ,I will give you a stat ; Robert Sanchez has the 2nd most Shot-saved percentage just behind Allison ,now start calling him the next Cech and say we don't have to think about the a GK for the next 10 years . Only idiots see and judge people based on stats. I have been watched osimhen's games week in week out ,full 90mins for the last 3 years now ,and imo he is top 3 best strikers in the world rn EASILY . You will see that when he comes to chelsea and cooks
@@MujtabaAbbas-tv7qm You shouldn't call people shot in the head when those people have watched football for twenty odd years and clearly you have not. My condolences for having watched all of Osimhen's games for years. That's a lot of fairly meh Serie A football and now rubbish Super Lig. If your head isn't up your backside, you know that opposition is mostly terrible. Osimhen is good but a lot of players are good. What's problematic is when people try to argue that Osimhen is "best in the world" or "top shelf" levels of good because he had one single season in his entire career where everything clicked. Jackson has played a single full season as striker in a much harder league than anything Osimhen has ever played in. The team he was playing for wasn't working too well. And only once in his career has Osimhen gotten more goal involvements than Jackson did. Those are the facts. How good can Jackson become? You don't know. I don't know. But the potential is there for sure. Could things click for him the way it did for Osimhen that one season? Why not? You talk about Chelsea having problems against low blocks as if the problem is merely the striker. That's nonsense. Chelsea's problem against low blocks is Enzo Maresca not wanting to commit the right kinds of players forward. Having a more clinical striker might make the problem less evident but it certainly wouldn't fix it. Last season, during the Poch end run, Chelsea punched plenty of holes in low blocks. Palmer, Madueke, and Gusto playing triangle around the right corner of the box was just too much concentration of quality. Throw in Neto and James instead of Madueke and Gusto and the result isn't getting any worse. Add in Jackson improving and the result definitely isn't getting worse. But we're not doing that under Maresca because he wants to have "control". We're attacking with one guy out wide. No fullback overlap for support. Lately not even a Cole Palmer nearby for support, but at least he's now gotten around to try and attack with a fullback in the front 5 but of course the fullback is positioned rather unhelpfully. Hence we've been amazing on the counter and terrible in established offense, and that's been a problem all season, and I've been calling it out for ages. And it's not a player problem, it's a Maresca tactics problem. Oh, and yes, Sanchez is a good shot stopper. That was never really the problem with him. Don't know why you think it was. Sanchez is a great goal keeper most of the time. It's just that he has an ability to make the most unbelievably dumb mistakes. And his passing is iffy.
we need Osihmen. He is a threat on the air which we dont have at the moment, his present is felt in defences
Obly in your deluded fantasies, twice!

CFC needs Victor Osimhen because of his physical presence in our opponents box going forward Nkunku n Jackson can be our second striker options
Osimhen is on other plans than Chelsea…
Fantasyland

Osimhen will be perfect because chelsea need a Guy very good in the air. With the crosses Osimhen will be perfect
YESS
Osimhen and Napoli have different plans!
Chelsea need osihmen

We have Broja returning 🙏🏿
We need a striker and a gk
son of chelsea we need just a gk and experience cb thats all
Marc Guehi and Lucas Chevalier pls Chelsea
I say go back after SAMU. He’s way cheaper, younger and has the same profile of a Jhon Duran but way cheaper.
If we have to sign a Thuram, we might as well keep Jackson. In don't think Thuram is better than Jackson
This guy is just waffling lol😂
I don’t wanna be harsh but Jackson is mid. We need a big game prolific striker than can score 20+ per season.
Stop Chelsea need a goalkeeper that can give us some clean sheets.
Osimhen is the best striker in the world man, leave it or take it
And still a Nspoli player who won’t gift him to anyone!
And a Napoli player not moving to Chelsea…
Jackson does well against a high line with space to run into behind defenders. Bit average without the high line . Come to BlueSky 💙
Thuram is no option

Not to mention , set-piece threat and even helps in defending them . + his leadership and experience will only help ,jackson and the rest of the team
