Very good video review of the machine. I've actually been shopping around, and one thing that shies me away from purchase is the belt tightening. This video confirms my concern with constant readjustment; and with the star I live under, the belt would break at the most inconvenient time. How does this machine work on scoring paper? Such as for around the contour of labels?
You can turn the power of the laser down in the software as far as you’d want. But that is pretty universal to all these lasers. And all of them would be pretty much just as good at cutting or scoring paper.
Amazing review. Congrats. Btw, I got a question. I´ve been wandering around for TwoTrees machines looking for that answer, but I just cant get an answer. Can this machine engrave / cut silicone material, like wristbands? Thanks!
Its not so much if the machine can do it. I think the lasers are plenty strong enough. Its more so a question if the material is safe to be cut with a laser
@@TheScalemodelingChannel At exactly 1:00 mark :) If I am hearing correctly, it sounds like you're saying newton meters. here's it's nanometers (since it's not torque :) ).
This laser is not strong enough. You would need a 20watt laser with air assist, but the results are not ideal yet. I have seem some videos: ruclips.net/video/lSN5Yz1Xq1Q/видео.html

Though i do want to say i have not tried it
@@TheScalemodelingChannel It should be safe, it is a popular choice for engraving.
can i replace the laser with a drill on this machine , it realy works nice
@The Scalemodeling Channel
What is the adaptor voltage and amps ?
I don’t know. It was the standard adaptor that came with the machine.
@@TheScalemodelingChannel just saw it in a forum 12V 4A thanks
Maybe a dumb question.. but do laser engravers have any consumables?
Belts, bearings and eventually the laser itself
How do you size the art/file to fit the space you gonna engrave?
That is done in Lightburn
Love your videos. Just checking - did you mean nanometers?
Sorry. On what part of the video?

@@sinuhevaltari706 you could very well be correct🙈
I wonder if this could cut really thin sheet metal to make photoetch pieces

can i engrave on aluminium and steel?
If you paint or coat the surface first. Then yes. It will engrave the paint/coating away. There are certain solutions available for this
Does the sd card come with it
Mine came with one
Can it cut Tamiya masking tape or sheets?
yes
