Sooner Nation loves Kelly Maxwell! She chose to play for Oklahoma knowing it would be difficult and that she would face a lot of backlash and criticism from OSU and their fans/coach. It was even worse than she imagined and then she somewhat struggled early on but as her confidence grew, she grew stronger and during the Florida game, she “flipped a switch” as she says and came into the Texas games with a whole new, different, more confident attitude but also had more fun than anytime during her college career. Turns out that even without Maxwell OSU had one, if not two, of the best pitchers in the country. And Lexi pitched great against Florida. The Cowgirls offense just didn't show up. But when it counted, the Sooner offense showed up bigtime.
