I think she's a best third baseman in the country in college ball. She's a very good hitter and her infield work is unquestionable. I wonder who will replace her or try to.
She drives me freaking crazy with her bat slamming after getting walked. I'm all for keeping the team fired up but she just looked like an idiot doing that and it was very embarrassing. Hell of a player but that stuff I could sure do without. As a Sooner fan there is no way to defend that, all I can say is "I know, it is dumb..."
These women are champions on the field and off and with God! I started watching them 3 years ago and have been a fan of women's softball and this team ever since. They are an inspiration not only to young girls but to all of us. They have been instrumental to grow the sport and the kingdom of God! In 1 Samuel 2:30 God says He who honors me I will honor. These girls/women have done that and He has done that. Thank you, team, for being such a blessing to your fans and your sport! We love you!❤
Great comment. I've had a similar journey discovering this special franchise. The now famous "get out of the boat" press conference sealed the deal for me...fan for life!
Hello Alberta Canada!! Boomer Sooner from OKC… I am 100 team Canada Basketball due to the class, humbleness and character of SGA and Dort! Welcome to the family! ❤
Nicole May was the most consistent, spot on pitcher since Paige Parker. She will be missed. May, Coleman and Jennings was the best freshman class. 3 for 3, going 4 for 4.
A big thanks to Joe Sooner for recording this - what a way for the seniors to go out! Definitely a team that will be remembered for many years to come. I don't know what's up with the announcer as his voice was so gravely that I couldn't understand half of the ladies names?
@@paulguthrie4857 no, it sure doesn't. Her awesome play she had also doesn't change the fact that she acts like a tard when she draws a walk. She's a damn good player, I've never said she wasn't.
The only thing I really didn’t include was the OU President talking, the Norman Mayor and Joe talking. Other than that was Patty and Kinzie and Tiare and that was it
Just curious.....I didn't hear the names of Avery Hodge #82, Quincee Lilio #43 and Alynah Torres #40.....did they have other commitments on this Saturday evening?
I believe California has somewhere around 50 million people living there. There are some more around 280 million people living in the remaining 49 states. So just that ratio alone says more will come from California, then many other states. Coach Gasso has lived in Oklahoma much longer than she lived California.. Wonder why she made that choice.
Do you mean the " late" great state of California? I'm a native, living in Texas, California, is now a shell of its former self. Newsome has ran it into the ground.
@@joesooner thanks I just seen the ref post on fb saying those two have entered the portal and I'm gonna be a bit bummed by hodge for a while. Do you have any insight on maybe why she is leaving? I assume she wasn't guaranteed a starting spot next year?
May should have had the honor of WCWS Championship last pitch. May gave us 4 years, 4 titles. May remained loyal to the family. Maxwell, as good of an addition she was, she was a 1 year trophy hunter who turned her back on her former teammates.
A lot of fans I talked to that were at the World Series were from out of state. Even at the home games I know of season ticket holders who all live out of state
My favorite player is Alyssa Brito. Golden glove, strong dependable arm, focused power hitter, great teammate!
Yeah she’s awesome

She's such a great person too!
Brito … truly amazing player and person. Rooted in the right things. Greatness lies ahead for her.

Drove down from KS to celebrate these girls! What a senior class!!!❤❤❤

Can we get Jayda to come back once a month for the next ten years just to recharge everyone's batteries. Man, we're going to miss her!!!
My favorite player is Kenzie Hanson going to miss her😢
She’s going to be a Graduate Assistant next season along wi Tiare and Karlie

The safety net looks real good.
So if it was such a home field advantage at the WCWS can someone explain the half empty stadium?
Maybe, not all Sooners fans could attend the WCWS in OKC due to previous commitments like work schedules. 🤔
The half empty stadium today was probably because it was like 1000 degrees today
@@joesoonerif you can’t take the heat then stay out of the kitchen! lol. Jk.
It may be a 5th in the making seniors is going to come running and the transfer portal
That would be awesome
Some of the seniors are staying as graduate assistants...could be...that knowledge hanging around.....you never know...
They are just great no team ever wins 4 in a row SRYS your awesome. Says Joe sooner ❤❤❤❤❤❤

GTFO with that Okie Light fan comment.
Jealous ok state fan…so sad to be sitting around bitter about someone making a decision for their own careers…just sad
So according to haters 12000 ppl show up on OKC but can't fill a 4000 seat stadium I'm proving a point that there is no home field advantage
