Just remembered your channel by chance last night, I'm so glad I did! Seasons 3-5 were some of my favorite yt videos ever, not just sailing videos. Thank you.
Wow, thank you so much! We work hard to capture footage and then edit it into something that people will enjoy. It's just lovely to hear you like the videos...and there's a lot more to come! Ha, I think we have enough footage that we'll be editing until we're 80! (✿◠‿◠) - Monique
I find so amusing to watch Drake cooking... I hope tris trip with Éanna spans several episodes, I find myself laughing with the jokes like if I was there, thanks for sharing!
Still watching after all those years WOAH!!! Still watching after all those years... ;) -- It's like my favorite Netflix series but it's all true. No Aliens.
Ha, just wait. Some of those night watches have some strange and unexplained things. 👽Although I can never seem to remember what they changed UFO's to now...I always have to look it up and then it just slips out of my brain. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -Monique
@@drakeParagon Hi Mo! I can only imagine how amazing the sky must be when you're out at sea on a moonless night. There are so many things orbiting the planet now, it's hard to know what's what? Part of me sincerely hopes a benevolent order of higher intelligence is helping us somehow.
So exciting. We're looking forward to testing it out more when we push off on the next leg of our journey. Can't wait to see how it holds up. (✿◠‿◠) - Monique
I just found this channel and absolutely Love it , i have been following Sailor James on SV Triteia for a few years , this is my new too watch ,as i enjoy watching how this great crew works together .
Sailor James is an awesome! When he briefly pulled into our marina in Stornoway, I filmed a great interview with him, we sat in folding chairs on the dock in front of his boat. It was during a Covid lockdown, so we couldn’t film it inside because of distance rules. Unfortunately it was really windy that day, and the wind messed up our audio recordings, so I couldn’t publish it. And the next day he pushed off. I hope he’s doing well, and that someday we can film another interview.
Very cool! Drakes reaction to the hydrovane! I put a cape horn vane on my 26 Westerly and had the same reaction the first time i engaged it in the Florida keys back in 2002. Brings back memories! Cant wait to see you guys touring Morraco! Always wanted to go there!
So my mother was Canadian and was adamant that we use only REAL maple syrup...none of that "sugar water". One time she came over to visit me at my house and went into the kitchen to grab something from the fridge. That's when I heard the scream. I thought she had fallen or something. Instead, I run to the kitchen to see her pouring my roommate's bottle of Aunt Jemima down the sink and giving me a look. Heh, she looked relieved when I told her it wasn't mine and that, yes, I would try to introduce my roomie to the joys of Canadian maple syrup. (A case of which arrived in the mail shortly after compliments of mum.) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -Monique
@@drakeParagon lmao that’s hilarious thank you for sharing!! Your videos are amazing first came across the Greenland sailing video y’all are really living a dream
You can actually apply for a nomad visa in several countries, you’re film film makers and need to prove sufficient funding which means different things in the different Schengen countries. With such a visa you can stay like 1-1.5 years. Worth investigating Surprised you ignored the bilge alarm
We have a Furuno Navnet 3d chartplotter/radar combo in the cockpit, and a second garmin chartplotter down below at the dinette. We love using the iSailor chartplotter app on our iPhones. It only requires an internet connection when we are downloading charts, but once they’re downloaded it doesn’t need the net connection to work as a chartplotter. We also use an app called PredictWind with our Iridium Go! to download weather GRIBs when we are offshore.
I'm thrilled to say that we just purchased some new equipment that will substantially improve our audio recordings, especially in very windy environments. We'll publish just a few more episodes that were filmed before we got the new equipment before the big change happens! :)

Love the interaction among the three of you. Great to see Éanna back on board.
So fun to see the three of you together on a voyage again. Love the hydrovane!
OMG in love with the sliding shelves. Saves digging around in the pot press

Ok let’s talk about the elephant in the room (boat). What’s up with the boots and my grandmothers hat? Lol

Love listening to Irish accent on RUclips sailing channels. As an Irish channel I gravitate to the accent 😂😂❤
Our Irish crew Éanna sailed with us from Boston to Canada, Greenland, and Iceland in seasons 1 through 5, which are our best videos ever. 😊
There's a airplane in a field in. County Sligo, I think it's a Boeing 767, it was bought to be converted to an air BNB
Nice to have confidence in your son to stand watches so you can have 3 responsible people
Hey John, as others have said, Éanna is not our son, rather just a good friend. And an excellent sailor. It's always nice to have him aboard. -M
@@drakeParagonYeah, but admit it, if you and Mo had a son, he'd have Eanna's personality.
Love your channel drake and mo but question for eanna bud when are you going to buy a boat
Rest in peace Aunt Jemima

Why no raymarine plotter? Don’t have to worry about internet connection for the details of passage
