It's really relaxing watching you work so hard! well done!
Why are you not using concrete block in the footings charlie
Garden wall
Yes for below the ground and won't be seen you would think they would use blocks as cheaper but there must be a reason🤷♂️
Because he wants those £1 a brick price and not £2 a block 😂
Prob the spec
Defo the spec. What @mark said

Hey, im not from UK, does "9hrs on the tools" just mean 9hrs at work or are you referencing a specific job?
Why not remove the shuttering ?
Amazing work mate

Brick Liner tool .... where can i get it
What does tingle mean as I noticed you keep saying you tingle the line across. I thought tingle meant when you quickly grab a live wire
Pinch the line.
Google tingle plate. Originally to keep the line up in the middle of a long wall. He uses them clamps. Fitzbricks

Why didn’t you pull the 2x6? Just lay bricks on top of it?
Why does the foundation go down about half way along the foundation? Is it just the layout of the ground or is there a engineering reason?
They have to step it down if the soil is not hard enough and probably coz of the slope
Great video, we are also working at the moment on a double wall soon online 🔥👀
Nice one Charlie lad 🙂✌️
why not lay 2 course of 4 inch solids and set the brick out 225mm under the ground??
Some sites are funny about it

you should of used london bricks as your base. it would of been a more solid job. keep in mind for next time.
I feel like you're like Gordon Ramsay but in another universe who bricklays instead of cook. You look like him too. The younger version😅
Can somebody please tell me how much you get paid for this job please day? Or a week??

I was wondering what you thought of what the traditional brickie said about profiles and GoPros on hats? 😂

First time watching you today mate good video
It's working in these tight spaces that really damages the back, nothing as hateful as working in a tight footings
Those 10 hole bricks are real muck eaters.
you are fucking awsome!! at all you do:)
Where’s your flat cap and cigar. Bricklayings going back to the 1940’s
There’s millions and millions of bricklayers worldwide. How the fuck dyou think ANYTHING gets built

Must be feeling a bit lazy today mate, you layed right over that timber form/shore. Not my job!
Fuckinell, come on George!
He's learning, i think. Or he won't last long, one or 'two.
Remove the shuttering. It looks like a scaffold button cut. If it swells up, it could pop up and cause a crack in that wall; maybe.

Agree, you would have used a profile the house end to on the side with stands
In oz the mortar goes off so fast, if you built corners you would be knocking the mud up all the time you would never get anything done.
Great video
Thanks Charlie, great vid and very informative.
