Okay, the first link is obviously to the Original Star Trek episode Wink of an Eye but time dilation was in the quite good movie Interstellar. It’s my second favorite movie, behind 2OOI:ASO. @BuShips, as theoretical physicist Kip Thorne DID HAVE a supervisory hand on much of Sir Christopher Nolan's film Interstellar (2014)... it could certainly serve as motivation for a subset of its audience to dig deeper into the relative velocity time dilation result of the special theory of relativity and the gravitational time dilation result of the general theory of relativity.
