The best part of this news for me is that I left Spectrum yesterday. Going to sell Verizon instead…now this. This is going to be a cash cow for Verizon. People want to leave cable completely but they feel stuck with little to no options. This deal is going to juice up FWA as well as expand FTTH. I can already imagine the big commission checks 💭💰
Have we all forgot that Verizon sold off their fiber lines to Frontier about 8 years ago here in the South.. "Verizon is buying Frontier back. I'm really glad about this."
They will be able to sell a ton more home internet . In addition with FIOS, One Fiber, and Frontier.. they’ll have a ton of owned backhaul to scale for 5G
Hey Tyrone, been watching you for a while. Maybe you can explain this move to me, so Verizon back in 2016/2017 sold a bunch of their consumer fiber market to frontier, places including California and basically everywhere else besides where they currently operate. Why pay more money for something that realistically was originally their investment. How much has frontier invested into that old Network besides maybe putting additional fiber for faster speeds.
What about ziply fiber and TDS? Are those posible adauisition from T-mobile?

I wonder if I can get my old Verizon wireless and internet bundle back?? LOL
This fixes their problem in the Midwest rural region.
Hilarious how At&t sold their DSL lines years ago here in CT to frontier and now look
Exactly

I already knew Verizon was doing stuff with Frontier communications.
This also helps with the one fiver footprint for Verizon
My thoughts, layoffs coming to frontier 😢
