  • I have begun my Plus Size Tudor costume project! I made a smock, this historical underwear was worn next to the skin to protect the outer layers from sweat and body oils. In later historical fashion this layer is called a shirt, a shift, or a chemise. I used a combination of machine sewing and hand sewing for this Tudor era fashion garment. Thank you for joining me here on CosTube for my plus sized costuming and historical sewing adventures!
