- Oprah Winfrey was the first to interview Bobbi Kristina Brown after her mother Whitney Houston died, and when the paparazzi barraged her with questions and speculation about the 21-year-old on Thursday, the talk show queen was obviously concerned.
Oprah's KEY WORDS; "Just because you interview someone doesn't mean your close to them". I guess that's why she felt it was okay to go through with interviewing Michael's accusers.
I never saw any indication she was close to Michael. But she sympathized greatly with the victims since she herself was a victim of childhood sexual abuse and she could relate to everything they were saying.
They're laughing and posing for pictures ....I'm glad I'm not in that world.

I think it's a shame how Oprah told the press that she wasn't close to Whitney Houston, but on that exclusive interview in 2009, with Whitney....She pretended to be her best friend and supporter, and claimed how much she prays for her daily! How Back Stabbing!!
And she brought Bobbi Kris on her show right after her mom died because she was hungry for those ratings. It was just gross. It forever changed my opinion of her.

I think her point is she was a fan of Whitney and she interviewed her but she can’t claim to be close or her friend just because of that. She probably didn’t know her like that. She learned a lot about Whitney during the interview. A person close to you would have known the basics of some of that interview and not be talking about how it looked to them being on the outside ad an observer of Whitney’s life. Oprah knew the celebrity Whitney but knew as much as we the fans knew about Whitney prior to the interview. She didn’t want to fake like she was super close to Whitney when she wasn’t. Lots of celebrities do that to be associated with other A list celebrities.

I downloaded this interview cause jt literally shows how crazy, unrealistic this industry must be. Somebody was talking about another person’s death and the others jumped to her to take selfie with smile and kept asking meaningless questions to get some news title, in the end, that somebody who seemed to feel sad came out and started promoting her movie. omg.

Whitney and her daughter are both sadly gone, let us all learn from their stories and begin to seek the lord in our lives, whilst he is still near and can be found. I never met Whitney, but she has left her mark in my soul. That song she did called: I Love The Lord, it is one of if not my favourite song to listen to through good and bad times. I am sad for Whitney, even more sad for her daughter. I just hope that their souls are at peace.

Her being very crafty in holding back her emotion, not giving "any emotional reaction for the press to turn her reaction to the news into another story" which is so inappropriate, takes years of training. Oprah should be applauded for her respond. It was apprpriate it was professional, and she maintained control of the interview of which she was being taped.

This title is so misleading. She came across very nonchalant about this. Oprah only cares for certain people in her circle, that has been confirmed by family members.
