- '1001' is my latest Oriental/Middle Eastern Progressive Metal song - with a full 5 minute music video. Instruments such as the kaval, duduk, oud, sitar & violin will take you on a journey through the Middle East along with the powerful drumbeats and metal guitars.

I have always been a big fan of Middle Eastern music, and the Arabic tonality is something that really captivates me emotionally. This is not the first Arabic-influenced soundtrack I create, but it is my new favourite. I have not been this excited to release a song in a long long time!

I've always loved the middle eastern feel of music. A feeling of reverence, of ancient civilizations, and the birth of modern civilization. Adding that feel to metal gets me 187% torqued.

The title got me interested as I don't think that I've listened to this kind of metal before and what can I say? It's more awesome than I've imagined. Metal guitars, violins and middle eastern music, kind of a weird idea but boy did you make a fantastic job with it. It's just sick!

I'm a big fan of Middle Eastern music, and of melodic metal, so combining the two is something I really love doing!
There's this band called Myrath doing this kind of metal if you're thirsty for some more eastern vibes

This goes into my 'themes of the 7 sins play list. I'm basing the 7 of real world statistics Lebanon turned out to be the angriest Country of the world, so i guess this is Wrath's theme now.
I think that funeral doom are more suitable for these oriental tones. Funeral dome with tones reminiscent of Maurice Jarre's The Message
