As a Brazilian it’s my favourite sim, it has a lot of cool national tracks and cars, whilst still having many historical racing series. I always felt like it lacked some more street cars but the pure amount of different racing series usually compensates it to me. Driving old GMs like the Opala and Chevette in tracks that they never raced on (like Monaco) is usually great fun

Not sure if you've done this already, but try the default+ setting for your force feedback. Complete game changer, but if that still doesn't work the FFB is fully customizable and there are tons of files from the community you can use
you are using the wrong FFB you should download a custom file which is the true steering rack file its over on overtake gg then run the custom file read the read me and make the correct adjustments and you will feel everything the game will be like nothing you have ever raced in before.
The TT being so uncompetitive is kind of a bummer, it's cool that a noob to real sims like me can get TT records, but it just goes to show how the average skill level isn't as high as the F1 games or something more popular. People like to mess around with custom FFB when maybe they should stick to learning how to drive better. I had the GT3 record at Canada in a few laps just because no one else had the balls to send it so hard in the last corner, it's free time.
The rear damping on stock Formula 1 setups, and many of the TT setups(prob just changed wings or something) is too high imo, makes the rear really twitchy, especially on bumpy sections. I might lose time reducing some rotation or response, but you can gain it back other ways and it makes the F1 cars way easier to drive quickly. The setups are a bit complicated for me, but since you only have 1 setup for every track you can gain a bunch of time changing things, the diffs on many of them are way to locked under power, changing them to 4 clutch plates and like 65-70 makes them easier to drive, And higher on the diff number means more unlocked btw, just in case you didnt know.
@@code01372, these days, AMS2 is more competitive than AC. I'd rather see Esports there and have the aliens help Reiza refine the physics even further (since they actually care unlike EA).
Nice video. If I had to guess, your UI is probably disappearing because it is changing to a different UI mode, there is normally a button bound to this that you are probably pressing by accident. You just need to check what it is in the controls, that button can then be used to cycle back to the correct mode if you press it accidentally.
I like AMS2 a lot and maybe it's just me but I have an issue with it. I can't seem to find these online lobbies with lots of ppl, I only see the ones that have like 2-3 sad blokes in them
I usually enjoy racing in AMS2 but there has always been something off when racing F1 cars. The wierd response after you apply some throttle and the constant "wobble" of the car feels so unnatural.
Yeah when you go 100% on the throttle after a slow corner, 1st gear, full throttle, no traction control, the rear starts to slide but then the car stabilizes and you keep going. As if there is some invisible driving aid. Ive never driven an open wheeler. But in any other sim you spin instantly with that.
had the same issue, from the forum : If you choose Custom (which is probably the correct option for your wheel) you need to do the button assignments before you can calibrate. So choose Custom -> Edit assignments -> assign axis & buttons -> calibrate wheel -> calibrate pedals. When assigning the steering axis, turn the wheel in the direction you want to assign and back to center immediatly or you'll get the "multiple inputs detected" error
I’m glad to see you enjoyed it. Maybe it’s not the most “realistic” sim, but it’s pretty good and most importantly, it’s a great game. It sure deserves all the attention that it’s getting lately
the reason the ghost is so far ahead jarno is because you are running on the default setup for the car; to really get the most out of this sim; knowing how to set up your car can help massively.
For me the biggest problem is the ui and all related to it. Multiplayer is a joke, to refresh i have to almost wait a minute, if you leave a lobby you have to refresh and if you cant enter a lobby the same happens, setups get reset and are weird organize my setups, sometimes it says I already used the same name but sometimes it works. (also having to go into time attack mode to copy setups is pretty dumb too, there should be a search setups button ingame or copy setups ingame) The gameplay alone is really good and optimization/graphics are great, its just the slowdowns of multiplayer search and janky ui that are holding back the game for me. (i still play it tho)
They have to change the tire sounds. When I just hear that I dont want to play. F1 24 really has the best AI I ever witnessed in any sim. They defending. Fighting back. Closing the door. They suck draft even if you get off the driving line, they will follow you to get draft.

I keep playing the early 90s f1 cars. Absolutely sensational. Especially when you install all the early 90s car skin mods. It's so good.

You should try LFM. Its fits ams like a glove

+1 to this for Jarno to see. As Gamermuscle explained recently, it effectively turns the AMS2 FFB into AMS1-style FFB. I think Jarno would love it.
I prefer the the standard+ profile, which is already in the game. I dowloaded a custom one but it sucked.
