Your intro, very much describes the phase I am going through, been building pedals for several years now. And complete complex builds and bug fix to a competent level. But I am really want to understand exactly what is going on in a circuit and be able to create my own. Your videos are really helpful. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.

Thanks for helping me complete my first build. And for the power supply tips.

Very nice channel. I like the way you explain how each circuit works. I bould my own pedals for bass guitar and my aproach has been in that way, experimenting and testing every component, and searching for knlowledge in Internet and texbooks in way to apply it to my ideas of creating the sound I have in my mind. Very nice channel, I will contiue watching your videos.

Thanks for this great video. Your description in the beginning of the video spoke directly to my current state. I’ve considered myself to be a “pedal assembler” rather than a “pedal builder”, as I can put the pieces together successfully.
I’m buying a breadboard, and plan to begin starting from scratch with some ideas. Thankfully, my favorite effects are fuzz and distortion, so I think those are a great place to start.

Great Stuff! can´t wait for next episode, if you´re thinking of a series.

That's the plan. Next up with be op amp boosters and then a simple OD pedal. Also considering a PT2399 delay, some kind of modulation, etc.

Awesome video, could you elaborate on the last bit, how would the last example work without biasing the base?

Excellent idea for a series, and great 1st video. The audio level on your videos tend to be quite low, about 1/2 the level of other videos and I have to crank up my volume. Can you 'boost' it up a bit? (not intended to be a pun, lol)

Really cool explanation thank you for sharing your knowledge! It's possible get overdrive or distortion from Lpb-1?

Not really, it's a single gain stage with no clipping elements. Any distortion from this circuit would be very nasty. If you use some clipping diodes on the output, you basically have an Electra distortion, which will provide some amount of overdrive/distortion.

Thanks for the video but the volume is too low

The volume of the narration is much less than the volume of the music.
