I’d just like to take a moment to appreciate the “don’t be that person” rant. Nothing is more infuriating than seeing something resold that was clearly never intended to be used or explored by the original purchaser. When $50 CooperFX Satellite cards sold out in less than a day and showed up on Reverb for literally $500 “still in original packaging” the very next day, my heart broke. Such a sad, pathetic way to make a few bucks. JHS continues to elevate the music community. Thanks to your team for being awesome. Even Belle.
The part I hate most is that people STILL buy marked-up, scalped items. The situation has such an easy solution...
_customer:_ [ looks at $50 item marked up to $500 ] "Nah, I don't actually need that. I'm not going to feed the troll.
_scalper:_ "Nobody is buying this stuff for over MSRP. Guess I'll sell it at the original price."

Two things Josh. One nobody ever gives you credit for playing and then reaching around and pushing that little button as often as you do while still being right in that pocket. Secondly the shoegaze part was dope as hell. I love your work man and you have such an awesome team.

Funny as hell, the Bell and Josh angst, off the charts fun! I think this is one of the best shows in a while. Also, the best Jams ( in my opinion) Josh your playing was really rhythmic and powerful. Lots of coo vibes.

I cant even start to say how much fun this episode was, how much I loved the change of pace. I'm not on a hunt for boosts, but I'm always looking for some fun, entertaining content, which this was by the lots! Was smiling throughout it, loved it to bits!
That Distort your way into the future jam was killler. Tone and super cool riff. I credit Belle with this success.

Scalping only works when obsessed people are willing to pay an inflated price. Obviously, it’s going to work in this situation, but those buyers are just as much to blame for the problem as the sellers.

About your Record Time band, you might also want to check out the Sons of the San Joaquin, who I had the great pleasure to see some years ago. Roy Rogers called them "the only singing group alive who I feel sound like the original Sons of the Pioneers." Also, Belle is a trip, and this whole episode was fun to watch -- and the pedals are sold out!

Really interesting idea, reminds me of one of my first pedal builds was the BYOC Tri-boost, had a 3 way rotary switch between Dallas Rangemaster with a tone switch so it’s not just a treble boost, Linear Power Boost, and a Silicon based clean boast. They don’t sell these anymore, and it made me sad that no one did a multi-boost pedal like this. (Hint: Solo v2.0 should have 3 boosts!)
I'm hoping Belle shows up in more episodes, she's doing a great job keeping you focused when you're showing off these pedals. I'll be buying 3 of these for every single person I know, hopefully this encourages you to work better on your passion and delivery. Much love from Seattle ❤️

The boost in the Ruby Red is my favorite. I would like to know more about that circuit and it’s two stages. I will definitely be getting this boost as well.
I asked this a while back and Josh replied “Hey! It is a dual stage mosfet gain stage I designed for Butch/that pedal. I honestly havnt seen anything exactly like it. I was trying to get it to match impedances with the fets in the Superbolt.”

Great video with real chemistry. I thought the comedy worked and intercutting a cinéma vérité style into the monologue was clever and energized the piece. The personal space invasion with Belle and Josh was genuinely funny. Really nicely directed, Nick. And the jams, especially that last one, kicked ass.

Babe wake up JHS just released another pedal I'm gonna waste my money on
I like the idea of this because I only rarely have a use for a boost (I play rhythm), but when I do use one I get picky about the type of boost, and it's hard to justify spending a lot of pedalboard real estate on something I'll use once a week. So putting two types in one small unit is ideal for my occasional purposes.
... But I'm in the UK, and between shipping and customs it will cost twice as much for me, so... fingers crossed you do eventually make this a more regular production product.
You should check out the Crazy Tube Circuits - Supercharger. 4 boost circuits in a standard sized box. Really incredible.

limited edition finishes are cool, but limited edition circuits make me sad because even if i can’t get it with college appropriate red solo cup imagery, this is still a really cool pedal that would be cool to have access to, and you know a lot of these are going to be instantly resold, like the 1966 series you made (which i really wanted in high school but they were a limited drop as well and were all being sold used for $800+, still unattainable for a student.) i actually preordered a JHS smiley because i was so scared they would sell out again like the 66 fuzzes, i wish i waited though because now they are much cheaper used then new!
