Matthews is a marketing genius. He keeps adding features to beloved pedals and it just keeps players saying "I have to have this." I know all to well. My bank account proves it but the memory man and the muff are still the best in my opinion

Had a little trouble with my Crying Bass Next Step pedal. EHX fixed it within days. I was back onstage with the pedal at the next gig the following weekend. Going strong ever since. Great customer service. Astounding pedals. Made in NYC USA.

That's a tricky topic. New Sensor Corp is second largest tube mfr on Earth. Mike's Reflektor Plant in Saratov, Russia makes tubes and then brands them with some names you might have heard: Mullard, Tung-Sol, Sovtek, EHX, and others. All those tubes have the same DNA from the same Russian plant, owned by EHX (New Sensor). They all get a different paint job on the glass before they leave. Some are sold to others to brand as "their own". JJ's & Shuguang are the only brands surely not made by EHX.

Not all EHX pedals are quality though. Most of the Nano series pedals bare a bypass arrangement that will add capacitance to the signal, hence will tone suck. If you look at the pcb's layout you realize that that was intentional.
I just discovered EHX pedals........so far, a Holy Grail and Memory Man. Cathedral on the way. I am really excited that they are made here in the US. Thanks !!!!!!!

Agreed. The guy is literally the King of Tubes, if not more. I don't know the exact figure offhand, but he easily dominates the world's Non-Chinese tube market. Well over half the famous tube brands "we love" are all made by EHX/NSC in Russia. Brilliant marketer! What's in a name? Simply put....EVERYTHING! That's why he buy's these old trademarks like Tung-Sol and markets RI tubes to all us cork sniffers.....;)
What is really impressive, is that he knows everyone's name. A detail many employers tend to gloss over as an "unimportant detail"....;)

He says Big Muff more often than Flanger Hoax and some pedals boast Made in NYC USA externally although they are indicated made in China internally but I like him, he made possible all my favourite pedals. Great man ! A living legend for a french man like me. Is Rebecca married ?
EHX is like the coolest effect pedals brand.... they do cool stuff generally at very reasonable prices. And qualitywise also not too bad. Besides their catalogue is freaking immense

I like some of the EHX pedals but I'm not sure if I like the way everything's surface mounted to the boards, I would also like to know if the pedals are considered made in the U.S. just because they are assembled in the U.S. or if the parts were manufactured in the U.S. as well, kinda like the opposite of Boss pedals and others that are made or partly made with U.S. parts and specifications, but assembled in China.
