I highly recommend this video if you replace your headlamp assembly for a 2004 Toyota Camry LE!
Outstanding video, Jim! I followed along with this clip to replace my mother in-law's 2004 Toyota Camry headlight assembly and these instructions were dead on accurate. I looked at several videos online the past couple of days in preparation for this job and your video is perfect down to the fender skirt fasteners. Thank you so much, Jim!!! Man, what a difference this made in daylight. I'm going to test them out on the road tonight.
Next, I'm going to replace the halogen low and high beam lights with the Fahren 9005 and 9006 LED lights.
In 2016 I took some toothpaste to my Lexus ES-300 headlamp lenses and that worked very well. The only problem was.... one year later they started to fog up again. The juice was not worth the squeeze to keep doing that every year. From that 2016 experience I just went ahead and replaced the entire assembly on my mother in-law's 2004 Camry.

I've looked at a couple of videos on how to replace the head lights on my 2002 Toyota Camry. Your video is by far the best yet, it is showing everything you need to do by doing it not just talking about it. Thank you.

Perfect job Jim! At some point it just makes sense to replace them rather than restoring. Out here in the desert the sun takes a huge toll on headlight assemblies.

Great point! Same here in N.J. between the salt in the winter and the sun in the summer they take a beating. Thanks for stopping by.

New subscriber because of this video. Excellent content, straight to the point. All other videos I watched showed taking the bumper cover completely off (waste of time and risks damage). Thank you for this content. Looking forward to other videos. I'll be replacing headlights in a 2003 Camry LE today

Great video on the replacement. My same car has still new looking lenses, and the paint is great. Garaged. I have always used a spray on car shine on the paint and glass and plastic lenses to keep the car looking clean from road debris and bird droppings. Helps keep the paint, glass, and trim looking good .

I highly recommend restoring head lights. Got mine wet sanded and recleared and there as good as new for a fraction of the price

It’s tight to come out because there’s a retaining clip on the bottom inside corner of the headlight everyone breaks removing like you see in the video here.

Well done. Did you use OEM Toyota replacement headlights? Must have cost $$$. The cheapo Amazon/EBay ones apparently fit poorly with gaps.

What ever happened to the simple chrome trim rings that held the lights. Wait, that was my 76 caprice classic. 😁 Great video jim. 👊 🇨🇦

I agree. No fussing around just take out 4 screws and install the light.

What part did you use? (Source? OEM or Aftermarket?). Looks like it fit well. Thanks!

Hello, good morning, I am contacting you, to be able to comment on the following situation that occurs in my vehicle, it was presenting an electronic problem, without knowing I changed the battery, and nothing, I went on to change the alternator regulator, and well, I I bought, it charges over 14.5V, and I considered the fault finished, one day cleaning the interior, I left the radio on, while I cleaned, and nothing after a few minutes, the voltage began to drop, less to less, until that the battery discharged at that moment, I was surprised because that had never happened to it, I did another test, with the battery charged again, I gave the contact, after a short time, equal to less than less, that in a moment the battery goes, I recharge it, install it, and leave it connected for approximately 2 months, until I realized that the red alarm light was not flashing, I checked it and discharged, that did not happen in the past either, did the current leakage test with the multimeter, because I told myself what And this would have to be a current leak, it is the logical thing to think, and what was my surprise, that the value it gave is 0.02, with the battery just charged, so there is no current leak, and then what is happening to you?, I have explained everything to you with hairs and bones, to see if you could help me determine the cause, because I do not understand it nor do I know what else to do, regarding what I am explaining to you, I await your prompt clarification, please, greetings.
