There is a great spot at the top of the city if you look at the map, if you go to the top of the building there are a couple of slots where you can fly in. The building goes inward at the top that is all I know about it. To get blue gems to make cliff plats you can use blue crystallized sap.
If you're coming back around to Extinction. Please give a play through or tips for the Center map. It's the only map I can't find any Nooblets videos on. Hope it helps your Ark videos out until (hopefully) Ark 2.

In the wastelands and it’s safe from corrupted spawns, close to a decent amount of metal (mostly rich metal) and is shielded by large rocks so meteor showers don’t destroy your things. Should check it out as a one to put in one of these vids. A great place to a pvp place, out of sight and easily defendable

Thank you nooblets always quality my friend. you did neglect one of the best out of the city spots. in the sunken forest. right as your taking the ramp down there is a waterfall to the left, there is a path from the ramp around to a cliff overlooking the ramp through the waterfall. it is HUGE area. and all you need to fortify it is one behemoth gate at the ramp junction. GGs

My original plan was to build a large elevator and pipe water up but so far I haven't bothered.

Just get in the city or under domes with one rules : make a base without access from the floor and with the most narrow air path. I'm talking about PvE, ppl can still kite corrupted to your base. So, be clever, close your base with offline tribe. Also, put a lot of turrets in your base, with X towers by priority with some tek turrets on back up if you forgot to refresh your X plants. Also, invest on high breed Velonasaur on turret mode. Also, don't get inside forest biome except if you are building on the ceiling of it. It ain't good to have a natural cliff near you on Extinction, just saying.
I found a little water filled plaza he didn't mention that has a little rathole and it served me well as a starter. I got a Velo immediately because he broke in there and couldn't get out. How the hell a Velo got in there in the first place idk
On official at least, titans can't damage structure. I have a base right below the blue obi in snow and can watch titan fights with no damage to my glass front base. Travel across the map is no problem at all.
I built my first base in the tek city where’s there’s a platform with a gap in the middle then another platform below so I can have my Dino’s and base als no corrupted creatures

looking at it..... the city makes me think of the Mass Effect series's Citadel O_o theory.... Ark is in the post-reaper Mass Effect universe, where all the alien spiecieses have split up again cuz "screw it, these guys aint worth it!"

It can be a pill if your not aware of your surrounding area, big tribes with tek turrets usually have them set on all dinos to avoid potential corrupted dinos destroying your base
@@PerizR6 I play Pve, and these bases are decent for beginners just getting into pve. I'm not going to use them, but he covers most of the good bases for starters. If you want a good pvp base, then go find one yourself. If youtubers went around exposing all the good hidden pvp base locations, then it would just be annoying.

Could you have built a couple of auto-turret guard towers outside the first location to keep out the corrupted?
They take like 4 damage (litteraly) from turrets
I like to use velos as they are easy to maintain
If you use plant spiegels x they will take 32 damage
Funnily enough I picked the first location for my base on my groups server after watching your tour video a while back.
I picked that location as well, though one level above. It's more space and my base still has enough cover.
