Hey, Guys In today's video I will be sharing with you my first impression of ambunu on my natural hair. Ambunu is a plant herb originally found in Chad Africa. In ancient times they used this herb as a detangler and moisturizing shampoo to cleanse their natural hair. I really enjoyed this as a detangler and I hope you all found the video to be interesting. Hey Maryam thanks for the video. I got this herb 2 months ago, so I've had time to go through trial and error and its become holy grail status for my strands.
Let the herbs sit for about 30mins to produce more mucilage, strain the herbs and apply to hair in a applicator bottle in sections. If you have leftover ambunu from detangling, add the reminder to your DC for extra slippage. I don't throw away the herbs and freeze them for next wash day to make one more batch and use fresh ambunu next wash day.

Awesome tips thanks for sharing! I just got mine in the mail today. I have my first batch steeping right now. I'm going to wait the 30 minutes instead of 10. I was already planning on straining. I don't mess around with herbs in my hair after my fenugreek paste disaster, lol.

I will follow your instructions and let it sit for 30mins instead and I will definitely strain it since last I was picking twigs and leaves out of my hair. Lol
When you said the Ambunu provided slip bc it is gooey I automatically thought about another great detangler which is slippery elm and marshmallow root. I have to try it!!!! Tfs. ❤

You can get this on Ebay no back order waiting. Love this stuff detangles my big hair and decreases the time I spend on wash day.

C Foster Yup and Sahel had great shipping time. It took about a week for me to get the Ambunu. Yes you get a nice size, will last for a while

I used yesterday and I still lose much hair. I put the one table spoon in the liter of hot water, the package did not say boil. I did boil though half liter and put regular hot water for the other half liter and I didn't get a slimy consistency. What I did notice once I blow dried my hair is how shiney and thick my hair was. I'll continue to use.

I was wondering if you could strain the leaves before putting on your hair and scalp. It would make it a little easier

That's what I'm about to do I can't be spending hours picking leaves out of my hair.
I love using ambunu but there is little information on how to store the unused portion! 1 liter is a below to use. What happens when you let the leaves sit for longer than 10 min? For 20 min? For 30 min? Sometimes one may forget, if no alarm is set. Can the extra be reused at a later date ? Can it be reheated if you let it cool? Help is needed!

@@reginabaker1467 this herb and other plants that are found in the shebe retain the moisture in the hair so the hair becomes healthy and long without breakage.
I think it's better to let it in the hair rather than rinse it
Are you sure you're not thinking of Chebe? Because from the videos I saw they DID rinse it out.

This stuff dries the hair, it's a no no from me.
