In regards to Tyler Perry, Madea’s character is beloved and is a representation of Southern Black life. That may be hard for people who haven’t/don’t live in the South or are Black, to grasp but it’s true. Yes, it’s exaggerated and his tropes are repeated at times (it’s comedy, get over it) and if you knew how he started (his plays are better than the movies at times) then most would understand that. He also started out homeless and was living in his car. Now he’s worth $1 BILLION and is the first Black Studio Owner. And he did all that by paying homage to the women and culture that made him who is and gave him the strength and love to persevere and obtain his success. Some may not understand that but for those who truly do, that’s who he does it for and that’s who has his back. A lot of people, not everyone, co-op Black culture for profit and notoriety and get praise and credit for it as if what they created is phenomenal but yet as the original creators, Black people most of the time can’t even get the respect and recognition they deserve.
Yes! There is a lot to be said for how he got to where he is today. The plays he created are so amazing. His movies are more for people who understand the black issues of America while being entertaining as well. IMO but I love his stuff 😅

@nancymcmonarch My comment was more to do with the view of Encino Man being a bad movie, not necessarily with Pauly. I just enjoy Stoney and don't really have any views on his other roles.
James Corden comes across as a Bully-Victim, he’s happy to slag and belittle others with his ‘Bantz’, but when he gets the Bantz in return, he plays the “ohh my mental health” victim.

I wouldn't say people are upset with him, but many find him very dislikable as just seems to play the same character, not funny or talented and only famous because of his mate Sandler. I'm not a fan of his at all, but hate is too strong a word.
It is unfortunate that you are a hated actor because of your movies, but a really decent person outside of them. The same cannot be said for the others.
Yeah to see Ashton Kutcher on this list with slime balls is kind of depressing. The guy is a truly honorable guy but because he has starred in some stinkers and people don't like his on screen character doesn't mean he is hated.
Yeah i find that absolutely disgusting. When joffrey died, a little bit of time after that I was filled with adoration for his acting. There will always be that little bit of a character to represent an actor but that is why i have to see them in interviews.
True. I looked it up, Jon blames him because toxicology reports said she was high on cocaine and drunk at the time. She’d been sober for a while but came to Andy Dick for some, who admits he gave it to her. He insists she’d already relapsed.

Even Roger Ebert called Tom Green a terrible excuse for a comedian. And upon hearing that I knew i wasn't missing anything when it came to his short lived career.
Leave John Travolta alone! He lost his wife and one of his kids. Every actor has more than their fair share of bad roles, so lay off! Besides, he's had some good roles.
He's a Scientology advocate and carries that baggage through choice, so that is why. Scientology has an awful reputation (see interviews with ex cult members such as Jason Beghe) and vocal advocates are universally despised. There is also (as with Tom Cruise) a suspicion that the cult's infpuence is at least partially responsible for their success.
I personally like alot of Adam Sandlers movies. Hot Chick is one of my favorite guilty pleasure movies. They make me laugh! But the #1 spot bring James Corben really surprised me. The Steven Segal one did not at all.
The “hate” for Russell Brand is unfounded. Dudes really pulled himself together since he got sober. I think the only reason hes on this list is because he dared question the official narrative. Its obvious WatchMojo gets funding from BlackRock
I think it would've been interesting if they had chosen another actor with a similar body type to her, but her style of humor just doesn't work for Barbie.
Jared Leto did a movie called The Outsider recently about the Yakuza and OH MY GOD I couldn’t get through consecutive 3 min periods without belly laughing at his hilarious attempt to play Ryan Gosling in Drive and Only God Forgives 😂😂😂. Every plot twist I kept thinking “I wonder if he’s about to pull the Tom Cruise move, wait, you mean this is all about me and I’m the hero of the world?” 😂😂😂
Jared Leto has had some good movies but it seems like Dallas Buyers Club was the last one. Cause Fight Club he barely has any lines, Requiem for a Dream he is actually really good, and Mr. Nobody as well. The Little Things he was creepy, but not bad.

hes also a producer to many other movies hes done even if he diddnt acted in them
i think hes a great guy ..i wouldnt know until i meet him irl but many ppl like him
In regards to Tyler Perry, Madea’s character is beloved and is a representation of Southern Black life.
I’ve heard plenty of good things about him (I live outside Atlanta). I haven’t seen any of the Madea projects but have always wanted to.
But how many people actually love the Medea movies? Or find them funny?
Or his other movies outside it when he tries to be a serious actor?
Well said
Yes! There is a lot to be said for how he got to where he is today. The plays he created are so amazing. His movies are more for people who understand the black issues of America while being entertaining as well. IMO but I love his stuff 😅
@@Denis-89I love his work, and his projects that don’t include Madea, like “Why Did I Get Married” and “For Colored Girls”.
Tbh I think Amy schumers downward spiral truly began in 2011 when she made a very poor taste joke about the tragic death of Jackass Star Ryan Dunn at a roast right at one of his best friends who was currently present at the roast being Steve-o
Imagine your best friend dying in a car crash and some lady jokes about it while saying it should've been you
That is so much worse than stealing jokes. Geez.
What did it for me was the time she admitted to sexually assaulting a guy who was too drunk to consent, then apparently sexually assaulted a cab driver at some point, too
That was the moment that I hated Amy Schumer for that. Plus I just never found her funny.
oh to read this comment after the last events
Dishonorable Mentions:
* Kirk Cameron
* Tommy Wiseau
* Larry Miller
* Shia LaBeouf
* Carlos Mencía
Huh? I totally get the other ones, but what did Larry Miller do?
Surprised Jada Pinkett Smith or Kirk Cameron weren't on this list.
Or Will Smith himself that slap was a crime.
Excuse me, how dare you insult Encino Man like that!! Pauly is definitely an acquired taste, but Encino Man is iconic! I love Stoney 😅
Pauly has always caught grief because nepotism. The general belief is that his mom called in a lot of favors to make him a "career."
@nancymcmonarch My comment was more to do with the view of Encino Man being a bad movie, not necessarily with Pauly. I just enjoy Stoney and don't really have any views on his other roles.
Since Ashton Kutcher openly defended a rapist he deserves to be higher.
James Corden comes across as a Bully-Victim, he’s happy to slag and belittle others with his ‘Bantz’, but when he gets the Bantz in return, he plays the “ohh my mental health” victim.
Perhaps "Top 20 Hated Actors" should be retitled as "20 Most Memorable Hollywood Train Wrecks".
You overlooked Bill Cosby,Teri Hatcher,Mickey Rourke,Shia LaBeouf,Alec Baldwin,Mel Gibson,Lindsay Lohan,Jaden Smith,Stacey Dash,Stephen Collins,Woody Allen,Kevin Spacey,Nic Cage,Madonna,Kim Kardashian,The Hulkster and John Wayne they deserve to be on the list.
Kim Kardashian isn’t an actress! Lol 😂
@@LaurenKaminskidoesn’t change how useless she is
John Wayne isn't hated - he's merely overrated & had no range.
Whats crazy and what I don't understand is how Andy Dick STILL continues to be a horrifying demon? Why?
Drugs
Yeah worst thing he is a foul mouth hate when he breaks law in golden state he should been kicked out he is so inappropriate
Andy Dick: The original Ezra Miller
hes been in and out of rehab well over 20 times; not to mention hes the biggest bisexual perv in hollywood
Fun fact: Andy dick got beat up by John lovetz
i’m pretty sure many people aren’t upset with Kevin James. he’s pretty cool.
It's almost as though double standards ensure that vile criminals get away with their crimes due to their fame. It's basically manipulation.
Yeah to see Ashton Kutcher on this list with slime balls is kind of depressing. The guy is a truly honorable guy but because he has starred in some stinkers and people don't like his on screen character doesn't mean he is hated.
Well... Let's just say I don't think Ashton's letter supporting Masterson is going to help his reputation.🤢🤮
Tom Green is the poster child of this. Fantastic person. Genuinely a super nice guy.
Yeah i find that absolutely disgusting. When joffrey died, a little bit of time after that I was filled with adoration for his acting. There will always be that little bit of a character to represent an actor but that is why i have to see them in interviews.
Phil Hartman wasn't murdered by Andy, he was murdered by his crazy wife.
True. I looked it up, Jon blames him because toxicology reports said she was high on cocaine and drunk at the time. She’d been sober for a while but came to Andy Dick for some, who admits he gave it to her. He insists she’d already relapsed.
Surprised Katherine Heigl didn't make the cut. Throwing Knocked Up under the bus which put her on the map for films basically made her hated by many.
Not liking a movie you made that everyone else likes isn’t worthy enough to be hated though.
She was sort of thrown under the bus for 1 stupid comment in her 20's. Kinda sad honestly.
And she also threw the writers of Greys Anatomy under the bus by declining an Emmy nomination as she believed the writers hadn’t written good enough material for her. Ungrateful doesn’t even cut it.
@@AJARyan-yn2uv If you have the freedom to publicly diss a movie years down the line after having been paid a fortune for it, then everyone else has the freedom to hate that person for it.
She was right though.
As far as Kutcher, people are starting to hate him even more because he (and Kunis) wrote letters to the judge in support of Danny Masterson (speaking to his "good character") after he was convicted on 2 counts of rape...😱😱😱
I completely did not know James Corden was an actual actor. I always wondered where he came from because of the talk show, but I also never cared enough to Google it 😅
Hes a woke joke. No looks, no talent, ticks the diversity PC boxes. Please take him back, we in UK dont want him either.
Oh yeah, he's definitely an actor. Watch Into the Woods, One Chance, and Britan's Greatest Problems.
@@ashleeearl0712 Don't watch LVK or Horne & Corden?
@@RobertTaylor-gz2fu What's that?
Hated is a strong word for a lot of these, disliked, or joked about, but hatted.
In 2001, Harvey Weinstein forced Kevin Smith to cast Tom Green as Marshal Willenholly in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back but it fell through because HE COST TOO MUCH. Can you believe there was a time period when Will Ferrel was affordable but Tom Green was too expensive.
I particularly hate Amber Heard. If you heard even the slightest thing about the court proceedings with her and Johnny Depp you might understand why.
I've heard about the court proceedings and I understand your statement means nothing. Either explain why you hate someone you've never met or don't
Actually I came out of all of that rather despising Johnny Depp. Or rather, that preconception was rather validated.
@@brenttaylor1866 Same here.
@@imcallingjapan2178 she's a disgusting lier and abuser, a disgrace to all women, even more for real abused victims, as per all the evidences (including her own words) that proved her guilty in that court proceedings which I watched in its entirety. So stop supporting abusers. And as an actress...well she's pathetic.... can't act to save her life, as she also proved in court.
Edit. Hope this is clear enough for you why people hate her
The fact that Andy Dick didn't take the top spot just baffles me.
He's pretty dangerous too
@@PrincessofPower84he deserves to be blacklisted by hollywood. After all, audiences already have.
If I didn't already think Corden in the top spot was absolutely deserved... now finding out about that dust-up with Patrick Stewart seals the deal.
Don't ever ever EVER mess with the perfect buttery scone that is Patrick Stewart ...[cracking knuckles]
Actually the Patrick Steward is the worst example, where Patrick actually admitted his wrong doing and apologized they even did a bit together after this whole thing. This list is not super well researched. I am not saying Corden doesn't deserve the number one spot but the example is really bad.
I’m surprised that someone like Phoebe isn’t narrating this list because I feel that this is DEFINITELY in her wheelhouse. 😂
Ashton Kutcher’s best movie is easily Butterfly Effect and it’s so underrated
There is also The Ranch, it may not be a movie role but I reckon that role saved his career.
Both underrated gems
The title of this video should be "Actors the guy who made this video doesn't like and his paper thin reasons why he researched for a minute and a half"
I was never a fan of Glee, but even when the show was still airing there were rumors of Lea Michele being a bully off the set. Saying how she was acting like a mean girl and her saying the show would be nothing without her. I didn't like her back then, but I really don't like her now.
I like Kevin James, John Travolta and Charlie Sheen.
Ashton Kutcher is okay too.
Kutcher is literally a puddle of piss
Dude Amy Schumer made a joke about Ryan Dunns death to Stev'O's face. I'm gonna say that's a little more than disagreeable as a person.
The fact that Steve-O isn't constantly badmouthing her after that says something about his character.
I heard she is widely disliked by those with whom she works . Like Chase
That H*tler photo of Roseanne it's absolutely hilarious 😂
Tom Green yeah maybe... but "Daddy would you like some sau-sa-ges!?" will always crack me up
I still don't see why John Travolta is on this list, he's an awesome actor
and you can think that but other people dont like him
And some people do.
Depends what movie he’s in. He was great in Face/off but shitty in Battlefield Earth
“Freddy got fingered” is the biggest finger to Hollywood ever made. The hilarity is mean spirited, uncalled for, and often times not funny. ..but you gotta give Tom props for throwing away 2 million in the face of stupid fake Hollywood. FGF is a classic and its humor holds up to this day and repeated viewings are very necessary to truly appreciate this motion picture of epic proportions!
hated among colleagues, hated because how they treat other on set, or hated because their acting is lame? these are different things.
I don't know about everybody else but i love Rob Schneider. His movies were a big part of my childhood. Me and a close friend used laugh our asses off watching Deuce Bigalow.
ron schneider is a carrot!!!
Kevin James redeemed himself in the movie Becky. Dude was scary.
He really was creepy for sure , just like that movie with Robin Williams as the creepy photo developer
Still don't like. Trying so hard to be Chris Farley
That was a fucking brilliant film
@@Ian666peace I hope the sequel is as good. I own a copy but haven't watched it yet.
I thought Phil Hartman was murdered by his wife. How is Andy Dick responsible for that?
It's been said that Andy helped her relapse into drug abuse, which caused her to murder Phil.
@@HookedOnSonics518 yup, it was known that she was a recovered coke addict, and despite that Dick got her back on it at a cast party. And apparently this was after he had been told about her issues. He's human garbage.
I believe Jon Lovitz punched Andy Dick, because Dick encouraged the relapse. Lovitz was good friends with Hartman.
Lea Michele spend whole year on Broadway saving Funny Girls producers from a financial dissaster that was created by casting Beanie Feldstein. Michele gave a memorable performance and turned it to a big hit.
And she made a performance for the cast of Glee too.
Ellen didnt make this list? Or at least a dishonorable mention
While she is reprehensible, she's not an actor.
I’ve seen people mention Will Smith. But Smith is not hated, most people are let down by his actions and feel sorry for his situation. I still love Will Smith and always will for the role that he played in my life growing up! He will always be The Fresh Prints I mean Prince on my face I mean in my eyes!
WatchMojo is just judging people to be hated for taking bad roles. I doubt anyone running the channel knows the definition of the word hated and to be honest, Will Smith made a horrible choice but by all accounts, he seems to be a good guy. in fact, most of the people on this list are good people and are only on this list for taking bad roles. this channel used to be good but the idiots running it quickly decided to do a 180 and move away from the content that made them fun
@@drifter139 yeah, you’re right. I used to love watching watchmojo, back in like 2015 lol. But they’re not the same as they used to be! They’ve literally even gotten facts wrong on videos as well as a bunch of other stuff. They do videos on things that sometimes it seems like they know nothing about and just try to shoot from the hip in the dark hoping to hit a target! They need rethink their strategy or formula because it’s definitely not the way it used to be at all!!!
To be fair Will was just standing up for his wife, while yes he did go out of line but it wasn't the worst thing a celebrity has ever done not even close but he did accept the consequences of his actions like an adult.
@jonathan… but to be fair, you can’t just assault someone. For any reason. That’s a crime. And because of a bald joke is a very, very, very poor reason to commit a crime. And to do it on international television is about as humanly stupid as you can possibly be.
@@jeremiahbrewer6115 and for that reason he should be on this list. instead they put people on this list for bad movies rather than doing something genuinely bad
Despite the critical reviews, Grown ups has mixed reviews from audience cause some audience including myself find the movie hilariously funny

Grown Ups is hilarious. I enjoyed Chuck and Larry as well.
Half these actors aren't even hated....they have just made some crappy movies. Come on Watch Mojo...you're better than that. 😔
They aren't...😂
I agree
They suck
They were never better, they have always been biased
It's also based on their perfomance in said movies...
Totally agree with James Cordon: I was highly disappointed when found out that he was the hist of the FRIENDS reunion show! I wasn't wrong, that stunk...to this day I have not rewatched it because of him and I'm tone of the biggest FRIENDS fan.
Honestly Amy Schumer was too low on this list
Jared Leto wasn't the problem in his movies, it was the writing, and direction. As far as Suicide Squad, the movie was edited poorly. We can only hope to see a Director's Cut. Morbius wasn't as bad as a lot of people think it is. Personally, I liked it. Was it perfect ? No, but it was entertaining. As far as Leto being disliked, he's not disliked. He's a method actor, and that confuses and annoys some of the other actors he works with.
Rachel Zegler better be in this list.
Edit: disappointed that she's not.
Just give it a few more months
Of course she's not; she spouts leftist political bullshit, which is perfectly in line with this channel.
Meanwhile, they repeated the classic brainwashed media mantra "bAsElEsS cOnSpIrAcY tHeOrIeS."
Whoopi Goldberg was in "Theodore Rex", "An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn!", "Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2", and "Doogal". She deserves to be on this list.
The list primarily involves how awful they are as human beings. Not an exhaustive list, and not involving failed projects.
She’s also on “The View”. It’s now a bigger mess than in the far-off past.
really surprised Amber Heard, Mel Gibson, Kevin Spacey, and Bill Cosby aren't on here.
I actually loved Leto in Haunted Mansion. He was pretty good as the top hat ghost
I enjoyed his Joker, go sue me
He is a pretty good actor.
@@onlyme219I do too!
I don't think we hate John Travolta, per se. We just hate most of the projects he chooses, knowing what he's capable of.
and that why we hate him
Rubber lips, greasy hair. Hated him since Grease. Like Brando. Not half as good as he thinks he is or is promoted as.
The list seriously feels empty without Rachel Zegler, Brie Larson and Amber Heard. Most actors in this list are those who appeared in bad movies. That shouldn't make them hated.
Look up their interviews and their interactions with cast members…
And i did like brie larson because i liked 21 jump street. Then it fell apart.
I hate Corden with a passion because he called my city 'the armpit of London'
Jared Leto in fight club was great, and Charlie Sheen in 3 musketeers was brilliant..
The only one I disagree with is Ashton Kutcher. I like him.
Besides, he's had some good roles.
you can say that about every actor on this list

He's a Scientology advocate and carries that baggage through choice, so that is why. Scientology has an awful reputation (see interviews with ex cult members such as Jason Beghe) and vocal advocates are universally despised. There is also (as with Tom Cruise) a suspicion that the cult's infpuence is at least partially responsible for their success.
I love Kevin James for who he is as a human being.
Apparently, you can't be a comedian who makes anything other than dad jokes without showing up on this list
Thank goodness Amy Schumer didn't do Barbie. Otherwise, her version of Barbie wouldn't have made a BILLION dollars.

Wow! You’ve really outdone yourselves with this one. 😂
Ouch that Ashton Kutcher comment did not age well. One day after this is posted Ashton and Mila came to the defense of Danny Masterson...ouch.
James Corden also was not helped by following the truly unique and insanely brilliant Craig Ferguson
