    This is one my favorite videos of yours! I've been self-teaching myself Viking's embroidery software since 1997 when I bought my #1+ new, upgrading to newer versions over the years and I enjoy Premier+2 Ultra the most! Your videos are always SO helpful! 😊👍

    Thank you for the awesome tutorial. I have an issue. Unfortunately, my Font Manager hasn't saved the modified design of the Alphabet after I have changed it with the Font Create. I have tried a few times still the same. Not sure how to fix it??? Thank you.

    Wonderful videos, I appreciate them very much & with the Covid not being able to learn at Husqvarna Viking Gallery it’s pretty hard. Wish you could do more fantastic videos we would enjoy & learn tremendously for your sharing. Thanks ♥️🤗👏🏼
    Oh Phil I remember what I would love to learn “embroidery patches” ❤️

    I really enjoyed the video from start to finish. It is exactly what I need right now. I followed along in P+2, creating a Regular Arial Font, standard fill #4, no underlay, density 2 (the lowest it will go), but I did not see a particular fill that I really really liked. I generated the font and it has this name: Arial_R_F_SE_20_120. I know what all of this means except for the "SE". I watched what you did in the 2nd part of the video to edit the existing font. I would like to edit mine to make the letters "light fill stitch" to match the designs I have just stitched in "light fill stitch", meaning that the material shows through the stitching. I have misunderstood the density factor, meaning that the lower the number selected the closer together the stitches are so I will have to edit my font. What stitch density should I set to achieve the "light fill"? Also, I want to put a double running stitch around the letter. I saw all the options that you pointed out during your edit and I was amazed. I need to at least do these letters "B A B Y" for a baby quilt I am doing. I am going to work on this again soon and will post it on SEWPhil.

    Thank you for show us how to create a font. It was helpful i have only had my software for less than a week. What I'm looking for is a way to creating script writing and use a couching method in the hoop. Do you think that is possible? Maybe not. I would probably have to have the embroidery that goes with the new husqvarna viking epic 2 attachments . I probably answered my own question but if you know a way please let me know. Thanks Phil

      I've seen some yarn couching done with a tiny little 1.5 mm zig zag. You could create that buy making a satin stitch. Set the width to 1.5 and set the density to maybe around 10 to 15?

    Great video, easy to follow. Unfortunately I only have the basic program. Question, I’ve purchased fonts and become very familiar with loading them in but recently I purchased a font that is script and very ornate and it came with 2 sets of lowercase alpha characters one plain and one very ornate for the last letter in a name/word. Is there any way to load that second set so it’s all part of the same font?

      I can't really think of a way you could do that. You might make a second version of the font with the second set of letters.

      Phil Carlton I thought about that, then I’d have to manually line that last letter up.. I thought maybe there was something I was missing in the software or another version of it that would allow this. Thank you for responding!!

    Great tutorial. I gave my new font the name Arial Purple in Font Create. But I cannot see it in Premier+2. Not sure what I'm doing wrong

    • @PhilCarlton
      @PhilCarlton  4 года назад

      I'm not sure. I've not ever seen one just not be there after the creation process. I know they can have issues if you use a period in the font name.
      Go into the font manager and in the search box at the bottom, type "purple" then press enter. See if that finds it.

    Bonjour de France de la ville de Lyon. J'ai apprécié votre cours, et je vous en remercie . Serait-il possible d'avoir une traduction de vos explications en Français . j'ai mis beaucoup de temps mais je suis arrivée. Seulement un petit problème le caractère enregistré sur le gestionnaire de la police ne correspond pas à l'application merci
