    What a great tutorial about needles! What needle would you recommend for the newer stretch denims?

      I would use a Jeans needle, and choose the needle size based on the weight of your fabric.

    I want to sew on elastic at the top back of a very thin dress since the elastic is worn out and the back of the dress keep falling down. What type of needle should I use to sew on the elastic on to the back of the dress. Please advise. thank you.

      You can try a jersey/ballpoint or a stretch needle on some scraps to see what gives you the best result.
