I need a quick answer please
I am going to buy Ux461ua 8GB,256GB version today. I know this laptop dosen`t have 2 ram slots . So I want to remove this existing ram and set a new one to the slot.After buying can I remove this soldered 8GB ram and set a 16gb ram?? ( I already have a DDR3 16Gb ram.)

How did you do it?
Guess i'm late, but here's my two cents: You CANNOT remove soldered ram. It's built in the motherboard. But if it has a slot for expandability, you may be able to add more ram. To be sure, you have to go through the laptop's specification in Asus' website and/or contact Asus directly for specific information. You can also search in Crucial's site for tested ram sticks for that specific model, the results could give you an idea about the availability and the various options you may have.
By the way, out of curiosity, what did you end up doing?
mine didnt come with a pen WTF. from Canada btw got it from best buy
I got mine from Canada as well and mine came with a pen so honestly if its not to late I would go to best buy and question them .

Yes, the specs can easily run softwares like FL studio and Ableton.

I read some models dont contain a pen in the box
You can probably check in the item description when you buy it and if it doesn’t say anything, the models that are 2 in 1 and/or is with pressure sensitivity probably comes with a stylus. But really don’t blame me or something if I’m wrong because I’m just guessing the only laptop I have is the zenbook flip

If only the pen was better it would have been the perfect designer laptop. Unfortunately the Asus pen is nowhere hear Lenovo .
