    I like that with the lighter color fabric that you can see the texture of your crochet stitches under it! You could pin your fabric under and iron your fabric to make the edges easier to sew on. Nice frog doll! I like to use dk weight or smaller, so most of my projects come out very small.

    • @StitchADeeDooDoll

      Hi Sharon!😃 Thats right! Like english paper piecing! Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to remember that for next time. Ive been starting to enjoy working with dk weight yarns. Most of my stash is 4 weight but i love that i can change things up with different yarn weights. Thanks for watching😁

    • @skayc1
      @skayc1 Год назад

      @@StitchADeeDooDoll I have more dk weight yarn than I do 4 weight, however, I did make some past projects with a larger hook & 4 weight yarn, I was out of my element though.

Thank you so much!😀 I wasn't sure if I'd make anything for the MOD because I was so busy with so many projects at a time (you know how I roll), but so glad I was able to squeeze that one in😁. It was great practice for me as well, so thank you for co-hosting the challenge. It's something I would love to do more often. Yay more amigurumi books! Hi Irene, thank you very much.😃 With an easy to follow pattern, it wasn't difficult to make at all. However, I have been making amigurumis for a few years now, so it tends to be easy for me. It really depends on how the pattern is written, whether it's an easy make or not. I would recommend the book, pattern, and designer 😀 Happy crafting!

      Hi Betsy! Depends on the project and my mood, I tend to switch things up between cotton and acrylic, but I do find that I tend to lean towards cottons for my dolls and acrylics for my animals. I do love that as makers, we are able to switch things up and modify the patterns however we see fit, so you go girl!😉 The bear bee on my background wall is designed by me, based on an illustration by poppy moon design. Podcast episode #2 is where I talk about it. Thanks Betsy for stopping by and chatting, always a pleasure ❤
