This line hurts. None of us know exactly what Jimin is talking about so I won’t speculate. However, they carry so much on their bangtan shoulder’s.

Just when ARMY got through "LETTER" (Dear Army) which was so heartwarming and thoughtful, we get CLOSER THAN THIS! Jimin never fails to surprise and touch my heart. His thoughtful lyrics grab me by the throat as I choke on my tears. We, as Army, are so lucky that there is so much BTS content out there. This will, hopefully, help us get through the time BTS isn't able to be with us "live?" Jimin is a natural when it comes to expressing his thoughts, as well as ours. He knows we're going to be missing him, (them), but we know that he, (they), will be missing us too. There's so much "talk" about BTS not reuniting when they are discharged, which we all know is oure rumor just for views; playing with Army's feelings. Something BTS would NEVER DO! They said they'll be back and we, as ARMY, know that they will be. Loved Jimin's song and really appreciate that he appreciates how we will feel with them all gone together. Such a thoughtful, kindhearted man. Loved your insight; loved your video. Thank you.
I love your explanation of magical realism. I didn't even catch that this didn't actually happen, but over the years they released first snow and playing in the snow content and we armys are probably always watching and smiling away... With that one line he was able to make those separate realities come together! This is the synergy of BTS x ARMY 💜
The immediate nostalgia is captivating and I've only been army since 2020 but through his lyrics you can really connect with those early days! I really love the emotions that Jimin evokes!

This song I think and believe is specifically for ARMY and BTS. If one person is listening to this song, she or he might find it hard to umderstand some of the words and phrases he used. She can relate and comprehend but might get lost in between. But I do agree with the fact that Jimin is really a very good song writer. Excellent analysis. This song from Jimin surprised me. I am from India. As a part of musical growth all the trained musicians are told the importance of practicing their art on regular basis. (It is like daily or weekly - called Riyaaz"). Even the very senior musicians follow this practice of Riyaaz. Is there anything like that by K-pop idols? I know they practice during training, they prepare for videos, concerts so they have to rehearse. But Riyaaz is not rehearsal, it is singing to keep notes sharp and improve on weaker areas even where is no singing assignment. It is a sacred practice for classical singers and musicians. Do you think BTS member practice singing they are on hiatus?

He switches from chest to mix to head voice with ease, and he can choose how much air, or breathyness, he wants to add. he has a bit of vibrato in his lower notes when he wants it. He has worked very hard to switch back and forth without effort. In fact when he goes into his falsetto, you really have to listen because Jimin has mastered this technique as has Jin. Jimin had a beautiful, unique tone to his voice, that's natural. All these other things he does take practice and so much of it. In fact The vocal line can all make these switches . Some vocal coach who totally understands how vocal folds work taught them them.
You normally are so analytical in your comments and I appreciate that. Now we see The ARMY in you by the emotions seeping through.
Tbh. I cried when I saw this song the second time. Then it hit me this isn’t going to be easy. I miss them and him already and this song helps.

ARMY has been setting goals to buy and stream BTS's old songs and albums to show our dedication to them now and forever! I'm streaming daily for each member at different times. The goals that I've set for my life is to continue to be peaceful towards everyone as much as possible. I don't celebrate the same as many during the holiday season but I do love the idea of having a Merry atmosphere because our world needs it! Thank you and Merry Christmas to you as well.

JIMIN is a special Human. I think of him like and Angel/Fairy/Elf. His heart is so full of love for his BTS Bros, and ARMY's. Even though I have only been a fan since 2020, I feel like I've experienced the beginning, because of all the content BTS has provided for ARMY's online, and the docu-series that Aneesa did (The Rise Of Bangtan) that takes us through from the beginning, and all the other documentaries I've watched and read. I felt it, this was a super emotional song for me. I too thought some of the doodling artwork looked like Jimin's doodles in his Vlog video when he and Jungkook went to Japan. I was so happy when they announced the new song by Jimin and was hoping for a MV. There goes Jimin again, hittin' everyone in the feels with his nostalgic stroll down memory lane 🥺🥹😢🤧😌🙂.
I do love the song, though. The upbeat tempo lifts the spirit & the repetitive beat almost reminds me of soldiers marching... which is appropriate for ROKA and for ARMY (soldiering on for the next 18 months). The imagery he creates is lovely here. He really has become quite the lyricist. The rap line has taught him well!

Rapline didn't teach him how to write. Jimin already had way with words and combined with his high emotional quotient he writes songs that are empathetic and emotional. He just did not write for BTS although he created melodies for them before but Suga told him to write too once they comeback not just write melodies.
Please just give Jimin his dues without bringing in other members.
@btsyf7467 I respect your opinion and agree. Jimin is a rare talent. I was just thinking of the videos of NamJoon giving him advise. Yes, Jimin wrote it, but NamJoon gave him constructive criticism to help him. As a loving, supportive group, I'm sure they sound board things off each other all the time. That's why they're so good.
