The PEI textured beds have excellent adhesion. I've had my X1C for almost thirty days and I haven't had a single adhesion problem yet. I have only cleaned my PEI plate twice with soap and water. Either I am super lucky or a lot of people who might be complaining about this are doing something wrong.
Textured PEI has very poor adhesion. Especially when printing small items, tall items, or items with small bed contact. Whether it be small supports, or the Print itself. Fail city. 30 days is a very small sample window. For example, I filled 900 prop orders in 2023, using over 25 machines, spanning a dozen different printer models. That experience, presents allot of Data. Get a high temp smooth plate, and see the drastic difference. There is no going back. Unless you really need that textured look on the bottom, which, IMO, is just gimmicky nonsense
Get that fixed! Need that AMS to work, for my Buck 120 Handles! 😂😂😂😂
