    LOL "boob lights"! Those types of lights were the very first thing I replaced when I bought my old house.

      Yup, they look just like a big boob hanging down from the ceiling, my wife couldn’t un-see it after I said that and they all got replaced Lol. Thanks for the comment!

    I love the schedule function on these lights and they work with Alexa!

    I have one of these from Costco as well. When they work, they're fantastic, however, the wifi performance is very poor. It often just disconnects from Wifi and won't respond until you cycle power. I had to purchase a wifi booster to assist; even so, it still disconnects from wifi on a daily basis.

      We have had that happen before but not often. When it does it's been a matter of turning off the light switch for a moment and then back on to reset the unit then it work again. Sorry it's been disconnecting. Thank you for the comment! Try a router reboot if you haven't already.

      Looks like Atomi HQ is based out of NY, but I'm sure their manufacturing plant is in China like almost everything else.

    why would someone install color lights in Pantry..!

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  3 года назад +2

      So this is a "hidden pantry" and we use it as a "party room" to get away from relatives we don't necessary want to hang out with when lots of family comes over, so we have cool lights in there and great drinks, Cheers!

      @@crypto-kvothe316 Ha ha thanks! It's kind of turned into the "Party Pantry" over time and just looks like a cabinet when the door is closed. 🥳🎉

    Ninety dollars just to have a smart light? Way too much money when you can buy some for 30 dollars that are adjustable before you put it up.

      Definitely something to consider, thanks for the comment!

    The biggest red flag on this is the lack of CRI information, the primary purpose of the light is to provide quality light, not just light.

    • @FixMyBleep

      Hey you are right! I was just looking through all of the product details and information and can't find anything regarding the Color Rendering Index, or the CRI (How the light and colors actually look). The closest thing they list is this: "𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗦 - The main white light can be tuned to neutral white, cool white, and warm white; the color light feature has a hue range of 2500K-9000K"
      Honestly during the use of this light, I mostly use the "Warm Light" setting, it just looks good and provides ample lighting, but thanks for pointing that out, and thanks for the comment!

    So do you have to turn them on by a phone app or will the light switch turn them on

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  2 года назад +2

      The regular light switch works, and uses the last settings the app had the light set on. Thanks for the comment!

    Just installed 2 lights in one big room and both lights are controlled with one switch. What was the step you took to connect to both lights? I can only seem to connect to one. Thanks!

      Hello, I have mine set up the same way, 2 light fixtures on one switch in one room. To get these lights to work together I had to install the application onto my phone, then set detect both lights using the application, set both lights to the exact same settings and when you flip the switch they will be exactly the same when you turn the switch on and off. Whatever you have them set to using the phone app, next time you turn the light switch on, it remembers from the last time you had the lights on. Hope that helps! 💡

      @@FixMyBleep Figured it out... there was a Bluetooth setting I needed to fix. Success! Thanks! Did you have to put the app on both your and your spouse's phones? Or, as you said, it remembers the last setting.

      @@elizabethmclain6855 Glad to hear you were able to get it going! We only installed it on one phone and every once in a while, if the lights get out of sync, we just we just turn off the switch or use the app to get them working correctly again. Yes whatever color/setting I had both lights set to when I turn the switch off, they remember and come back on the same when I hit the switch. Thanks!
