I normally reserve likes for videos I want to save to my playlist, but your attitude and words of encouragement alone deserve a like, and a comment, anything that can help you get started
Great video, obviously not a motoring journalist and that’s what makes it so good, an honest review. Well done. And what a fantastic car to start with. Looking forward to your next video car review.
Thank you very much for the very kind and encouraging words. I try to keep it as real and honest as I can on this channel instead of being paid to say nice things about it. Be sure to subscribe and share! Thanks for the support.
I’m coming out of the Company car scheme and the 320 is top of my list for PCP, so came across your review. A solid start to your You tube channel, went through everything nice and clearly. Looking forward to more of your reviews.👍
More videos please with this car wanna buy one but don’t know yet so I’m looking around here on yt. The one I want has a white interior and blacked out car 320d M-sport 2019 xDrive sedan winter package innovation.
Sounds like you've already made your mind up! The spec sounds lovely 👌🏽 Xdrive will give you hear round usability too. Just a word of caution on the ivory interiors, they look great but they can be a headache for stains especially if you wear blue dye jeans 😬
I agree. Unless it's a full on sports car or supercar like a Porsche 911 GT3 or something, I wouldn't go for manual cars in something like a daily driver. Manufacturers just aren't investing any money into manual gearboxes now. The technology has not evolved. Its all about double clutch and torque converter automatics now.
Very nice car! But there are some extras missing, like Driving Assistant Professional, Parking Assistant Plus, BMW Laserlight, and of course the xDrive
Yes of course. There's a myriad of options you can specify. But even as standard, the M Sport came with a pretty decent spec. Stuff like driving assistant systems and self parking are not my kind of thing. Call me old school but I much prefer having full control of the car at all times! I specifically wanted to test a rear wheel drive one as mentioned at the start as I've always been a bit rear wheel bias 😁
I am not sure weather to get the BMW 320d m sport or 520d m sport. I am thinking the 520d is more solid with a spacious interior and better quality materials. There does not seem to be much difference in insurance, mpg etc. What are your views?
In terms of build quality and fit and finish both cars are outstanding. They're both built to the same level of quality and finish being modern BMW's. The 520d is slightly heavier. But that's because its a larger car offering a very very spacious interior. If you have a big family you'd enjoy the 5 series more in my opinion because of its greater practicality. Having said that the 3 series isn't exactly impractical. Both cars have consistently been regarded as the best in their class so you really can't go wrong with either one. I guess it just comes down to your budget and which one you think looks better.
I love the look of the BMW 320 on the out side. Sporty, aggressive and purposeful. I don,t like the design of the inside. However the new style body of the 5 series that is like the 3 series, did not come about later on about a year ago. I can only get a car that is about two years old and less than 10 000 miles on the clock. I love the 5 series interior. It is out standing quality and put together very well. In my perfect world I would get the new style 5 series. Those exterior looks are jaw dropping. I am probably swayed to get the 520. The old style shape is nothing to be sniffed at. It is near enough honed to perfection!
Both are outstanding choices. If you are referring to the latest 5 series body style, the G30, its been out since 2017 and received a minor face-lift in May 2020. The interior of the G30 5 series is very similar to the new 3 series apart from a few minor differences such as the revised fully digital dash. But overall build quality in both is top of its class in my opinion. In terms of what you're looking for there are plenty of 2018 520d's out there with less than 10k miles in M Sport trim starting from around £23k from an approved BMW dealer. A higher specification with a few more toys you can expect to pay nearer to £28k+
I have 320i I am planning to keep the car got it in 2019 on pcp suppose to keep it for 4 yrs and return it it’s just I am so confused I have been watching reviews and some of them are saying that 3 series gives a lot of problems after a few years and to stay away from 3 series bmw.
Great video man, very informative and genuine feedback. I would really appreciate if you could review the 330d because I'm considering the the 320d and 330d. Sending luv n support all the way from South Africa.
Thank you very much Brother for the kind words and support! I will definitely try post covid to get a 330d. Over here in the UK, the 330d is a 3 litre diesel engine with an increase in horsepower. Having said that, for day to day use, I never felt that that 320d needed more power. It is perfectly sufficient for every day town and highway driving. Hope this helps 😉👍🏽
Thanks for the support!! That's a tough choice but it'll come down to what your priorities are. If it's fuel economy then 320d is the obvious choice. If its power then 330i. Both have the same amount of torque but the 330i has a good 50bhp more. Having said that, the torque in the 320d is available way down low in the rev range and it pulls unbelievably well for a 2.0 diesel.
which models come with the 8.8 inch screen? I thought the 10.25 inch comes with the live cockpit professional pro package. the m sport version gets the 10 inch screen with the standard cockpit plus?

Ashley Neal has the manual version.
He’s a driving instructor from Liverpool.
But I would avoid owning manual cars at all costs.

My 2007 Alpina D3 is still more powerful and has more torque than the latest 3 series.
That's because it's an Alpina 😂 Compare the latest D3 to your 2007 D3 for a fair comparison 👍🏽
